Unfortunately the watch we received was not the same as pictured. Rather than the black hands on a gold face, the watch had gold hands on a gold face which were difficult to see unless the light was just right. Fortunately, the service was excellent. We were able to return the watch with no problems at all and received a full refund promptly.

I have had this watch for about 6 years. It keeps ok time. It looses a second or so each month. The band feels good and fits great.I needed a couple of links removed and the did the for me when I got the watch. I pick the watch up in Jamaca on a cruise.I think a paid $1500.00 or so. I wear it to go swimming and to the beach.I have no trouble with water damage.I did have the main seal replaced last year when the battery needed replacing.I think it cost me $30.00 at a local place. I think the look is simple but nice and it is smaller and thinner then a rolex I have. I wear it every day and it looks new. If I had to do it over again I would by the automatic style, just because of possible resale and I like the sweeping hand of a automatic.
Long-term ownership of a Constellation     On: 2004-04-08

Purchasing an 18ct Omega - Automatic - Officially Certified - Chronometer, one believed to be setting oneself up-for-life.

1967 was the year of purchase, and, despite the fact it has never, ever, even straight from a service, kept the right time, I have felt good wearing it 24x7 week-in, week-out, for all those years. Never have I been precious about the watch, I have worn it under every conceivable condition: work, play and sported it at the best events in the most exclusive places and always felt comfortable about it. On losing it, in a public park whilst playing football, I put up a £10 reward (so as not to too loudly proclaim its value) and had it found and returned.

Since it became 25 years old, servicing has become somewhat expensive, so I simply leave it a few years between, which seems not to alter its behaviour. On a number of occasions I have contemplated purchasing a new watch, but whenever tempted to explore the possibility, I always find that I cannot bear to separate myself from the partnership.
