 Pulsar - PXH333 (Size: men) By: Pulsar Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 1 More Information very sleek and handsome watch  On: 2006-05-13im no watch conisseur but this watch turned out to much better than i expected. i was looking for a quality watch for a good price and this turned out to be an excellent choice. i was first drawn to this watch b/c pulsar is marketed by seiko whom i knew made quality watches. i think pulsars have a more modern twist on some classic timepieces as compared to the older sophistication of seikos. i expect it to have same movement and quality as seikos, though only time will tell. came well-packaged in elegant box (no watch pillow like seiko, but np) watch has nice heft to it, though not heavy. very pleased with the look, looks even nicer than in the picture, expensive but not stuffy, also blacks dial adds a nice touch, really makes the watch stand out, plus dark faced watches are "in" these days. the band, however, is quite large so will probably have to take it to the jeweler, but not a huge deal since i got such a good deal. my only reservation was the seller who seems to have received quite a handful of negative feedback. in the end, i decided to order this watch over a month in advance of when i needed it for a gift, in anticipation for some unexpected delay or problem as customer reviews indicated. however, famous watches proved me wrong, i was shocked to find my order at my doorstep just after 3 business days! or maybe i lucked out, but would definitely buy again from this dealer. i definitely recommend this watch, for either yourself or as a gift. if youre not into paying extra for name brands, this should serve as a solid everyday/dress watch. i especially think itll be appropriate for the younger college-aged group. great looking and functioning w/o having to worry about being too heartbroken over scratching an expensive watch at school/work. and the way i see it, its not such a major investment, worst case scenario, you can always upgrade again if it turns out to be less than you expected. most importantly, the recipient loved it, wears it all the time. |
