They were mostly brought back by GIs returning from Japan. My first Orient came from Okinawa and it quickly became my favorite timepiece. It is accurate (21 jewels) self-winding, and practically bulletproof. Due to an unfortunate accident, I had to retire my first Orient and purchased this model. I am very pleased with this one as well, and I still get compliments on it. I have always been a fan of kinetic (automatic) watches, and since I cant justify purchasing a Brietling, this is the next best thing. |
