 Freestyle Men's Shark Buzz Alarm Day/Date Digital Watch 79801 By: Freestyle Average Rating: 3.5 Total Reviews: 3 More Information Really good since there isn't much out there  On: 2008-06-09I had been looking for a vibrating watch with a timer for a few weeks when I found this. I am amazed so few exist considering the number of people out there that workout wearing an iPod and might need to time intervals or rest periods when training. Since you cant hear an audible alarm with the headphones on, vibration is about the only choice. This watch does what I need it too but could be improved just a little. It would be nice to have more than one timer mode. This one counts down and then starts counting up. It would be good to have the ability to count down and then repeat the count down for interval training. It would also be nice to have the lower right button function as a select downward button during setting the watch and timer. At the moment, if you over-shoot the number you want, you have to go all the way around the number sequence again. The light works well and the vibration feature is good. It would also be good to be able to select which kind of alarm you want: vibration, audible, or both. At the moment, you just get both. Not a big deal though. Vibrating Alarm Watch  On: 2006-09-19I beg to differ with the person in front of me in this review but I have owned three different Freestyle Vibrating alarm watches and NONE of them "audible" when they vibrate in the alarm mode. The just vibrate. a solid vibration also. Wakes me up in a sound sleep..Great watch. I highly recommend it This Shark Did Not Benefit from Millions of Yeas of Evolution  On: 2005-12-13The alarm can NOT be set to vibrate only. It can be set to audible with vibrate, but not vibrate without audible. Whoever at Freestyle let this to market like this should be fed to the sharks. |
