The stop watch is very easy to bump so it is running all the time. The stop watch hand should be second hand and second hand should be the stop watch hand. The band itself is irrating on my wrist. Over all I am very disappointed in the watch especially with the crystal scratching up so quick. Difficult to read; but nice colors  On: 2007-12-20Several reviews mentioned that this watch is "huge", but it really is no larger than a typical sport/dive watch. What bothered me about this watch (which I did buy) was the magnifying cover crystal, which opens. The magnifying glass increases the size of the watch dial and numbers, but also greatly increases the degree of reflective glare which, therefore, makes the watch more difficult to read. Also, the luminescence of the watch numbers is minimal; only lasts about 4 hours in darkness. Another con: it is too frikn difficult to use the alarm because of the extremely small, tiny adjustments to the dial which must be accomplished in tandem with the second-hand meter. Overall, though, nice colors, handsome design, and the most practical watch Ive researched to date. **Still cant understand why other reviewers complained about the size, which I didnt find noticeable**. Looks good On: 2007-09-23Thats about all I can say about this over-sized, clumbsily crafted wrist wrecker. All its little dials are unreadable and useless. Attractive design but toooooo large! On: 2007-08-29The watch was attractive and sporty, but way too large. For this reason I had to return it. Also the magnifier lens covering the crystal made it seem even larger. I wasnt aware of the magnifing glass covering the face of the watch. H-u-u-u-u-u-g-g-g-g-e-e-e!!!!!!!!! Big Watch ,,small band On: 2007-07-28I too was struck by the big size and weight of this watch. I am a big guy of 64" and can wear a big watch. But to my chagrin the band is so small I can barely buckle it. Other than that it seems to be a good watch. Great watch, looks good and doesnt cost heaps On: 2007-06-27Going on holidays with this watch is perfect. Not only can you go out doors (bush walking etc) but you can wear it dressed up and casually too. Looks really good. Price is good cause if you get robbed its not going to cost you so much to replace it, but the attachment might sting for a while ;] HAVE ALL THREE.... Great Watch On: 2007-05-06Display is easy to read, magnifying glass feature for dial cover is very handy when trying to read fine print. Very durable band. Compass and stop watch feature work well. Like mentioned before it is definitely a beefy watch, but still very comfortable. BIG, but nice On: 2007-02-17It is a very nice watch, but very large and heavy. It keeps great time and looks very sharp. If you like the G-Shock type watches youll like this one. The watch band is a little small for how BIG the watch is, but it works well and has lasted over a year so far. I would recommend buying it if you want a large watch that looks nice. Nice, but with qualifications On: 2007-02-08I liked the design of the watch, particularly for the leather backing behind the case and the web strap (metal watches seem to produce an alergic reaction for me). I was pleased with the watchs appearance, but annoyed by two things: (1) the web strap is quite short; my wrist is not exactly beefy (7 3/8"), but the strap would be too short for a guy with a big wrist; and (2) the case is really thick and heavy. You might need to wear it alternately on your right wrist to keep from over-developing the muscles in your left arm. All that being said, I kept the watch and would buy it again. big and comfy On: 2007-01-15theres a leather backing to the watch, so that makes it comfortable. i was looking for a casual watch with big numbers, and a green strap. this fits the bill! great price too. very comfortable Check your wrist size before you buy this! On: 2006-11-02The watch is nice and there is no doubt about it. but I guess this should be marked as a a "wall clock" . I had to return it as was looking for a wrist watch. If you buy cloths from big n tall section of the store. this may be the right one for you. |
