On: 2007-02-23This watch is nice and heavy (something I wanted) and very attractive. The only problem I have with it is the "water resistant" rating. On the watch (and website) it says "water resistant to 165 feet." I figured that meant it would survive in my 5 foot deep pool for more than 2 minutes. I figured wrong. The local watch repair shop explained to me that water resistant to 165 feet basically means: No in shower, no washing dishes, definetly no pool, but OK for walking in the rain. Chalk it up to a rookie mistake. Next time I will get a good looking divers watch. |
