Great Watch at a great price!     On: 2007-08-21

This is a great watch; excellent details in workmanship, looks elegant and beautiful, very rugged looking. The size is adequate. The picture shown here doesnt justify how good the actual product looks.

With the extra 20% off the list price, costs only $147. A great buy at a great price for sure! Highly recommended.

The watch comes with instruction and the free extended warranty since Amazon sold this watch directly. It also comes with the sharp looking yellow box with cleaning cloth. Very well packaged. Shipping is a little slow, I guess since it ships from KY to CA via UPS ground, its understandable.

Excellent watch     On: 2007-08-08

After my old Swiss Army watch got broken, I decided to upgrade to something more fancies. I was always dreaming to own Omega, Tag, or Breitling. However, I could never talk my mind into depart a few large from my valet for a watch. Then I started to look at some knock-offs and quickly understood that they dont worth money.
I was never aware about Invicta brand but when I saw this model, I though I am looking at Breitling Navitimer which is prices at around 4.5 large.
For the price that Amazon was selling this watch, I got an awesome deal.

Here are few points why I choose this watch...
1.Large watch looks awesome on my not too big hand
2.Sapphire glass is scratch resistant (compare to mineral) and has any reflective coating. Though sapphire is much easier to break by a sharp blow (not that I am planning to do so).
3.Swiss chronograph (quartz). I heard too many people stating that automatic or manual winding watch are better, I like quartz. I dont have to be bothered to wind the watch every morning, shake my arm during the day, or buy expensive timing winding boxes. And in addition, those mechanical and automatic watches are losing more time per day than quartz and to maintain all the moving parts inside them is also cost not just a buck. So I am rather pay ten bucks every 3 years and have jeweler to replace watch battery and be assure that my watch wont gain or lose more than 60 sec per year.
4.Watch is 200 meters (666 feet) water resistant. I am always thinking that more the better. However, I did not want to go to the top of the line to require a helium valve for watches that are 300M (1,000 feet) water resistant as I am not a sea diver. Now I just dont have to worry to take it swimming or wearing in a spa.
5.Very bright hands illumination. Two hours on the sun gave almost 6 hours or bright glow in a complete darkness.
6.Chronograph, though I am not planning to use it very often, is very nice lined up on the watch. The two buttons controlling the chronograph as screw into a watch body making its sealed very well.

In general, I love this watch and hope that it will serve me well for years to come. I am highly recommending this watch to anyone who loves a nice piece of machinery.
Nice     On: 2006-03-06

Very nice watch , only complaint is the bezel is very hard to grip, and is not unidirectional it only turns to the left.
This makes it very hard to enjoy that part of watch, but I do like it. Maybe down the road i will purchase another and make sure the bezel does what the ad says it will do ....
