I wanted a watch to wear while my primary one is sent in for service. Since it would be used occasionally, I decided I wanted an automatic so I wouldnt need to worry about winding it or replacing batteries. Along the way I found the Eco Drive, so I looked into what they offered.
The way it works is a solar cell under the dial charges a battery that runs a quartz controlled movement. This makes it much more accurate than a typical automatic watch.
The Stiletto line is the thinest eco drive watch Citizen makes, and it has a Sapphire crystal.
The fit and finish is quite nice considering the price range of the watch.
Mine measures 5.4mm thick.
I find thin watches are less likely to get whacked into something, and Ive never had a Sapphire crystal break.
The gold hands on the white background on this model have plenty of contrast, and its easy to read even in dim light.
Its "water resistant" so you dont need to worry about splashing it while washing your hands or wearing it in the rain, but you really shouldnt wear it in the shower or while swimming.
Eco Drives with better water resistance are thicker, not quite as classy, and you cant get them with the sapphire crystal.
If you need to size the bracelet yourself, youll need a screwdriver with a 1mm blade to remove or reinstall the pins.
Overall, this watch is nicer than I expected, and odds are Ill end up wearing it more often than I expected.

I got this watch for my future husband as a wedding gift. I was hesitant about ordering something so special online, but I was very happy when I received it. Its really shiny and heavy for a fairly inexpensive gold watch. It came in a nice box and I cant wait to give it to my future husband.
