 Skagen 233XLTTM Titanium Watch Charcoal Dial By: Skagen Average Rating: 5.0 Total Reviews: 2 More Information Very Happy So Far  On: 2007-03-04I received this watch as a Christmas gift just over two months ago and have been more than happy with it. Im not used to wearing a watch, but the slim profile and light weight have made the transition easier for me. It has a very clean and classy look and feel despite the low price. I particularly like the mesh band. Since I have plenty of hair on my wrists, the standard style of link band tends to be very uncomfortable for me, but this watch presents no problems. The gunmetal color looks great to my eyes as well. Unexpectedly, the face has even managed to avoid showing any scratches despite daily use. Overall, this seems like a great product. My only gripe is the apparent lack of luminescence on the face, but I usually just check my cell phone when I need the time in a dark room. good value, comfortable and stylish On: 2006-01-06This watch replaced a more expensive Swatch Skin product I had worn for about 6 years. While it is physically larger and heavier than the Swatch, I actually find it just as comfortable. I have a fairly thin wrist and a lot of hair, so I am pretty sensitive to how the band works and adjusts. The Skagen band took me a minute to figure out ... but once mastered, it is very easy to adjust and to latch and is very comfortable. Stays in place, no pinching, no hair pulling. I like the look of the watch. I dont think the watch mechanism is actually that thin, but Skagen makes it appear thin by tapering the case to the oversized face and wide band. If you like the look, it is a comfortable, durable watch, which I think looks far more expensive than it is. I also like the understated color of this particular model: I think it looks "sophisticated", though my wife thinks it is dreary. To each their own ... there are plenty of color schemes to pick from (this was on sale when I bought it). |
