The Mondaine Swiss Railways watch arrived quickly and was exactly as described. All apects of it denote high quality; the leather strap was supple and immediately comfortable, the curved mineral crystal prevents glare from obstructing the dial in almost any light, and the high-contrast and oversized hands and markings make it possible to tell time with the merest glance. Not that I always glance--the face is such a successful graphic design that I often linger as I look at it. The only downside, a minor one, is that the smooth stainless crown, lacking a reeded edge, can be hard to grip while setting. Nor is this troubling, since after a month its still within one second of my atomic alarm clock off which I set it when it arrived. Final note: I ordered the red strap, and I actually enjoy its sometime clashing with my attire.
