On: 2008-04-18Ive been wearing this watch for 3 weeks now and absolutely love it! I have fairly thin wrists so some watches wont fit properly but this one works great! Im also a bit fussy about the fit. What is really nice about this watch is that like other watches you can remove links, but this one comes with a 1/2 link as well that allows you to customize the fit, and for me was extremely useful! As for the look, the blue is a beautiful shade that makes the watch look very sporty as opposed to cheap which Ive seen on some other blue-face watches. An awesome timepiece On: 2008-03-13This is my second Movado watch, and it looks just great. The deep blue dial really sets it apart from other watches of similar price. The deployment clasp on the bracelet is a little difficult to work at first, and theres nothing in the instruction booklet that explains it, but after you figure it out, its easy. This watch looks great whether youre dressed up or just wearing a t-shirt and jeans. If youre in the market for a watch, this one deserves your serious consideration. Great watch On: 2007-06-29My girlfriend recently bought me this watch for our anniversary and Ive been very impressed with it so far. I have a Movado museum dial but was looking for something that is a little more casual and this watch fits the bill nicely. The craftsmanship is excellent and the detailing is quite eye-catching. Ive received more than a few compliments on it in the past month and it goes as well with a shirt and tie as it does with shorts and sandals. A word of caution though. The watch is rated for water resistance to 30 meters but that rating is often misunderstood. It basically means the watch can handle a light splash but thats about it. This watch (or any other watch with the same depth rating) should never be immersed in water. In order to be safe for swimming, etc a watch needs to be rated to 100 meters or more. dont get it wet  On: 2006-12-16I love the watch. I own several high-end. Thinking this was water-resistant, it is not. Wear it in the shower at your peril. A Fog develops inside the casing, it really is quite annoying. Otherwise, a great watch. Looks fab, your friends think you rock. Just dont swim it. Buyer Beware!  On: 2006-06-13We bought this watch thinking we got a great deal. But be advised, you get what you pay for. At first, after only a month, the battery lead became detached, and we had to send it in twice for repairs. We had to wait a month to get it back and pay for shipping. Once again, the timer has now quit and now the watch is full of condensation. So much for water proof! This watch is too expensive for the headache that comes with it FREE! I will never buy another Movado. Movado Gentry Chronogaph is a great watch On: 2006-03-15I absolutely love this watch. Its extremly well made, you can see the quality in the band and time piece. A very flashy eye catching watch. You can wear it formal or casual, it doesnt matter. Check it out at a jewler first but dont buy from a jewler because this watch costs $800 at a retail store. I saved big time buying from amazon.com and the watch is great. A great present for yourself or someone you love. Enjoy!!!!!!!!
