If the leather strap is replaced by a similar looking ionised aluminium metal strap it would look great Classy  On: 2006-08-09I am veru impressed with the watch. I do not wear jewerly and rarely watches. My watches have always been functional. The Movado is my first dress, fun watch. The slim watch face is very classy and comfortable. The overall appearance is of class and style. I did not rate the watch a five because of the band. It is leather but appears/feels like the inner cheap layer of leather instead of full tack leather. Also the band is a mens standard, but is too small. I have an average wrist and have to use the first notch on the band -much too short of a band. Yes you can get a new band, however part of the watch style blends into the band style. Garey |
