Its durable, attractive and accurate and made by Pulsar, a division of Seiko. It was a great value, too! What more could you ask for? A Five-Star Watch for its Class by: peterlassig2 On: 2006-10-20 Ive had this watch for 10 months now and have not been disappointed. I wear it daily and yet its face is still in great shape (I cannot see any noticeable scratches.); and it works like a charm in and out of the swimming pool. Getting the Citizen Eco-Drive Calibre 8700 reminds me that there are of course many other more expensive and extravagant watches out there (Yes, I realize that the 8700 for some, is an entry level watch.), but this one does the job, and it does it well. Highly Recommended! great watch, bad junk mail  On: 2006-07-25I bought this watch for my husband. Its a great watch, but the day after I ordered it I started getting junk e-mail after junk e-mail about watches that were for sale. Very annoying. This watch is from SEIKO subdivision which aslo provided 3 years warranties from SEIKO, which is very good. Con: This watchs bezel can only rotate one way counter clockwise and cannot rotate the other way as this Amazon.com describles as "unidirectional rotating bezel" pulsar men's watch On: 2006-03-10Product came in excellent condition. I was very pleased with watch. Excellent choice. Nice watch for the price On: 2006-03-10This watch has nice "heft" to it. I like a heavy feeling watch and this fits the bill nicely. The only complaint I have is the numbers dont stay "glowing" long enough. I work at night and look a the watch constantly, but I have to use a flashlight to see the time. Otherwise I like this watch a lot. Good watch, good value. On: 2005-11-02Ive had this watch for about 3 weeks now and am very pleased. It is comfortable and accurate. I really like the looks of the blue dial. The mineral crystal and stainless steal band were important features I wanted in a watch. The long warranty is a plus also. As mentioned in another review, the second hand is red. This feature does not really show well in the pictures. To me, this looks OK. Almost all good On: 2005-07-28This is a great watch, especially at the sale price I paid. Clean design, highly legible, comfortable, plenty of heft (I hate a tiny watch), and the band just fits my extra large wrist at the longest adjustment point. My only complaint is the orange second hand -- it really looks out of place on an otherwise classy face. A silver hand would be slightly less visible, but much more in keeping with the rest of the design. Thats a minor gripe, though. Overall, this watch is an excellent deal. great inexpensive watch On: 2005-07-16I love this watch. It was a gift from my wife, who purchased it from a jewelry store (probably with a %60 price mark-up). In college I owned a similar looking Fossil watch. I much prefer this Pulsar. |
