It is a nice watch. I can feel the hign quality of this watch that TAG made. Each part of this has been satistified. Also, the outlooking is extremely good. I love this watch a lot. I think it was my best choice for buying a watch.

This is a review on a Tag Heuer 6000 chronograph chronometer. It is relevant since they share the same movement, except as one other reviewer noted Tag did have the 6000 certified.
This watch totally locked up two weeks after the warranty period. Tags response is it is your watch and we no longer care except to charge you $340.00 to do maintance on it. This is on a two year old $4500.00 watch.
Am no stranger to mechinical watches in fact own over a dozen including a 40+ year old Buluova and have never had a problem until now. As a matter of fact Tanya, the service manager, told me that Tag did not make a watch that good and no Tag should be expected to last that long.
In conclusion IMO if you want to know what time it is buy a $19.95 special somewhere and chunck it when the battery dies. Cheaper and more reliable than one of the most expensive watches Tag makes. Avoid this line of watches completely unless you are prepared to spend over 300 bucks every two years to have " a fine example of Swiss watchmaking technology" on your wrist.

Please be warned, there are manufacturing shops out there that counterfeit parts that have been know to turn up in space launch vehicles and military/defense products, so stands to reason that a mere watch can be easily duplicated, especially given the high price margin...
Always a risk purchasing from someone other that the manufacturer or the authorized retailer, but this vendor appears to be the real deal. Have had the watch now for many months and Im still one happy camper. Still havent had time to take it in to a friend to get get it authenticated but will post my findings on Amazon when I do. Ive bought it just few weeks ago, and Im highly impressed by the quality of it and the way this watch looks (trust me - in reality it looks even beeter than of the photos). It has quite long power reserve (42h - measured) and its doing about +8 seconds per day (nothing great, but I think Carrera should get COSC certificate). I dont know what to write more... TAG Heuer Carrera is an awesome watch.

OH MY GOD. THIS WATCH IS LIKE THE BEST LOOKING WATCH IN THE WORLD. ITS LOOKS SO AWESOME. ITS AMAZING IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT JUST BUY IT. DON MISS IT. JUST PUT IT ON UR HAND AND THEN U WILL KNOW WHAT THIS BABY IS LIKE.
