On: 2007-01-10I was pleased with my purchase of this Timex Perpetual Calendar Watch (Model 2D631). It was shipped out from a Denver location and even with the massive snowstorms theyve recently had, I had the package within a week along with a letter from the distributer apologizing for the delay along with a photo of the snow! I really like Timex watches. I have a tendancy to be rough on watches and Timex has held up better than more expensive Seiko watches Ive had in the past so now I use Timex as my everyday watch and keep the more expensive watches for dress wear. This Timex model has a beautiful stainless steel expansion bracelet that I like very well. The Indiglo light is a nice feature as is the Perpetual Calendar. My only complaint which caused me to give this item 4-stars instead of 5 is that the calendar numbers are TINY! At 52, my eyes have a very hard time determining what the numbers are (even with the old bifocals!) so for me the calendar is almost useless. In the future Id be happy to see Timex use a crown with a magnifier over the date if theyre going to use numbers this small. Other that this, Im completely happy with the quality, finish, design, and price for this watch. |
