On: 2008-04-30This watch is mediocre at best and is really made for those with great eyes-I.E. Kids. Everytime I wanted to change anything such as time or date or mode, I had to carry the instructions with me. Give me an analog watch any day, not this piece of junk! Excellent inexpensive watch!  On: 2007-05-21I have worn this watch or a nearly identical one for almost 20 years (I lost the first one when a band broke in the surf). It is extremely light weight and provides incredible durability and battery life. Its timing modes, particularly the auto reset countdown mode, I have found very handy. It is very accurate - the ones I have owned have tended to gain a few seconds/month. I have worn this watch diving down to ~100 feet, surfing, sailboat racing, all over. (I am sure that the diving is not a recommended activity, but the watch survived.) Battery life is over 6 years. I have worn out several bands, but not the watch. On the downside, it doesnt have the biggest or easiest to read display. You have to press a button to illuminate it to read it in the dark. Still a bargain for under $20.00! Highly recommended if you need a simple inexpnsive watch with timing functions..... |
