I received this watch as a gift one month before I deployed to Iraq. One year of uber 150 degree heat, sand blasting, and blatant abuse in the turret of my Bradley Fighting Vehicle have only yielded mild cosmetic blemishes. I am officially retiring this watch only to maintain its Iraqi war on terrorism heritage. The tan line on my arm will be covered with a new one, of this exact same model. This watch is not only easy to read in a wide variety of low and high light conditions, it can withstand a high volume of severe impacts. It makes a great gift for any soldier, or person who appreciates quality.
