Good watch for a good price     On: 2008-03-09

Ive been wearing Timex Ironman watches for over 15 years. My only complaint is that they eventually usually fail when moisture gets in, usually after a battery change but with my last one (this one) it happened after I had only had it for eight months (but I got this one on the clearance table at a camping supply store for less than $10 so who knows what it had been through before I got it).
All of the features worked great - the Indiglo lighting, countdown timer, multiple alarms with weekday/weekend options are ones I use all the time and must have in a watch. The band is good in that it is integrated into the watch so there are no pins to pop loose but it also means that when the band wears out or breaks the watch is done. The one thing I didnt like about the band is that part of it is elastic and the elastic stretches out and deforms. That part should be regular nylon webbing, not elastic.
I have not decided whether or when I will order another one of these. I have an older Ironman with fewer features that still works and a couple of Casios (both very nice but both missing at least one key feature), so I will use those until I cant stand it anymore and order this one.
Nice watch, but old stock     On: 2007-12-17

When I received this watch I said: Nice Timex ! Testing the watch I realized that the light was out of order. A couple of days after the alarm turned off. The battery was finished. The dealer refund me... but what I was looking for ??? I was looking for a Timex not for a refund. So bad.
Great Watch Great Price     On: 2007-02-13

I needed something lightweight and that could survive out in the elements, this watch doesnt disappoint. Its very comfortable to wear and is loaded with features. If you are looking for an Ironman watch I certainly recommend this one. Unlike a previous Ironman Triathalon that I owned, which came apart from the band, theres no way that this can happen with this watch - the strap and the face are one and the same.
