I bought my Suunto X6 HR purely on the reputation of Suunto. I wanted a way to track my runs and hikes. This watch is perfect for it. The heart rate monitor isnt uncomfortable. The software that comes with it needs several updates from suunto.com, but it isnt hard to get or use when its finally loaded. I like the easy to read charts of your heart rate and the altitude. An added bonus is the suuntosports.com web site. You can upload your training logs and examine them even closer and compare them with other peoples training logs. The only reason I gave this product a 4 is the price. This isnt a cheap watch. However it will last and take abuse.
