Excellent product. Hes also correct about a good-looking, functional watch. Would like to add a few items you may find helpful. Like the Crown protector feature. My last watch (from discount store) didnt have this feature. A few times Id miss an appointment as the stem had accidentally pulled out. Im guessing from reaching into my pocket and getting snagged in a time-set position. The TerraGraph 72703 has military time for my computer work and the champagne dial is easy to read. The TerraGraph 72701 appears to be the exact same except for white dial. I chose the 72703 mostly because the champagne dial seemed to be a bit "softer" in appearance. It doesnt draw attention with black numbers on white dial. The olive nylon strap with leather accents, at first, seemed too loose. After about a day or two, the strap form fit better. I may change out the strap but at a later time. Sent a pre-sales question into Wenger Customer Service and they responded quickly and professionally. The product line has many options for customers for service work too. Amazons affiliate, Swiss Outpost, handled this transaction superbly. Along with Amazons automatic notifications, Swiss Outpost sent a thank you note and provided a direct link for UPS tracking. Delivery was amazingly fast -- about 3-days. Since delivery, the vendor has followed up to made sure all was satisfactory. Excellent Amazon partner to deal with. Swiss Quality, Handsome Looks On: 2005-06-29I was shopping for a good-looking functional watch as a backup for my Breitling Aerospace, and I looked at hundreds of possibilities. I like a quality watch with a fairly clean face. I was willing to forego the following features: alarm, dual time zone, stopwatch/timer chrongraph, day indicator. I required the following: Swiss-made, easy-to-read, date indicator, eggshell or champagne face, fabric or metal band. The Wenger Terragraph 72703 was the watch I selected, over the Swiss Army Cavalry model. I got a great 48% savings through Amazon/Watch Zone. You can find Wenger and Swiss Army deeply discounted at Sports Authority (prices like $60) but I could not find the exact model I wanted there. The watch is perfectly beautiful, and is exactly what I wanted. The attention to craftsmanship and detail is extreme. The face is machined with inscribed lines, and many of the details actually have to be seen under magnification to be really appreciated! This is a very handsome watch, not junked up with lots of features Id never use. |
