 New Luminox Navy Seal Dive Mens Date Quartz Steel 3102 By: Luminox Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 6 More Information It's a great watch.......until it stops working.  On: 2007-09-19Ive owned this watch for about 5 years, and Im sad to say that it hasnt worked for the last 3. It was a great watch at first, and everyone used to really go crazy for the tritium inserts. It was so bright in fact, that I used it to light up a dark room on one unfortunate occasion. However, every good thing that I could say about this watch is null and void considering that for the last 3 years it hasnt done the one thing that every watch is supposed to do; keep time. The watch simply stopped working on Holloween 2004. No reason. Just stopped. I tried contacting Luminox regarding where I should send it for repairs. No reply. I found a list of authorized Luminox dealers/repair centers and sent emails to several of them. No reply from anyone. I finally took the watch to a local jewelry store and had them repair it at a cost of about $110. The watch worked for almost exactly one month and then stopped again. The jewelry store said that they couldnt warranty the repair work because they were not an authorized repair center. More emails to Luminox and still no reply. More emails to authorized Luminox repair centers with no replies. So now, three years later, the watch collects dust on a shelf. I occasionally remember it and send off a new batch of emails, but to this day Ive never got a reply. And until the day that my very reliable Swiss Army watch stops working, I dont intend to worry too much about the Luminox dive watch. All watches will break someday. But for a watch to break two years after purchase, and for the maker of that watch to have such a complete lack of customer service, is pathetic. Its a nice looking watch, but unfortunately, thats it. It just looks good. It doesnt work. My advice is to spend your money on something else. It's a great watch.......until it stops working. Excellent watch for all outdoors activities  On: 2007-06-12This watch is very rugged, and is perfect for camping. Great Watch But...  On: 2007-06-08I love everything about this watch except the crystal. I work in an office and only wear the watch to work. In the 10 months Ive had it, it has collected a number of scratches on the "indestructable crystal", some very deep and quite noticable. Of course, the crystal is NOT covered by any part of the warranty. I expected that a watch made to military specs. would be a bit tougher. Other than the crystal, I love the watch. The size and weight are perfect for me, the luminated display is awsome, and it looks great. I get lots of compliments on the watch until I point out the scratches. As much as I love the watch, Ill strongly consider another brand next time in light of the poor quality of my crystal. By far the best watch I've ever owned, even at 100x the price! On: 2007-05-16I cant beleive I waited so long to get this watch. It is quite possibly the best watch Ive ever owned. Its truly bomb-proof. I kind of wish it was easier to swap out the wrist bands, but hell, for the price, Im tempted to just buy the same one again but with the rubber watch band this time. And on top of being such a well built time piece, the watchs illumination is PERFECT. Not too bright, but not so dim that you cant see it. And best of all, since it doesnt depend on a light source or solar charging, its luminance is always at the same, consistant level of perfection. Yes, I truly love this watch ...Thanks Luminox! well built and incredible value. On: 2006-06-21This watch came lightning fast and was an incredible deal. Well built with an aluminum case and carbon fiber dial. A little lighter than I thought it would be but built well and practically a night light!! The illumination in the dark is amazing. Has the navy seal emblem on the back case. Excellent quartz movement. You could not get a better watch for this price. I am surprised at how many compliments and questions I get when I wear it. I have an extensive watch collection with rolex, breitling and omega. I find myself wearing this a lot to work. A little agressive for a suit but looks great shirt and tie, blue jeans or casual with shorts. Would make a great work watch too. Overall- best watch purchase I have ever made economically. It has never let me down no matter the environment. And last but not least it has the plus of its really unique luminous system. If youre a pilot flying at night in the almost black atmosphere of the cockpit, you want one of these, believe me. Just Superb On: 2004-09-08This is the best watch Ive ever had.
