The price I paid is very good. Im a very satisfied customer. Thanks Yup... dead battery here too...  On: 2006-10-25...but works fine now the batterys been replaced. All in all, an elegant looking watch, if a little dainty. According to the manual, it has almost no water resistance, but this isnt the kind of watch to wear for a swim anyway. Its a good loking watch to wear for a job interview, though. Dead Battery On: 2006-08-24Yet another comment on the dead battery situation. However, since I got the watch for $29.99, I figure I still will make out fairly well even after I pay for a new battery. DOES NOT WORK  On: 2006-07-28I GOT EVEN THE REPLACEMENT BUT EVEN THAT DOES NOT WORK I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND SOFAR. WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED Watch didn't work On: 2006-07-11We ended up returning this beautiful watch because it didnt work. We took it to a battery store to see if it needed a new battery and the manager said, "Oh, a Skagen watch. I wont dare touch it because they open in a special way and I could scratch it." So rather than risk scratching it and finding out that it wasnt a battery problem but that it was defective, discouraged us from pursuing this matter further and so we simply returned it. I dont think I would order another Skagen watch again. We did return it to Amazon. Battery came dead On: 2006-07-06It shipped with a dead battery which was lame but after I shelled out for a new one at macys it worked. Skagen Watch On: 2006-06-27Fast delivery and Good Watch for cheap price. I recommend others to buy this product. Received a non-functioning watch On: 2006-06-27Received a non-functioning watch. I lost my $10 gift certificate, since when i returned the watch, amazon only returned the actual amount i paid. The only thing i received is disappointment. Not Happy- With Amazon or Skagen On: 2006-06-27Like the watch but 6 out of the 8 Skagen watches you sent me had dead batteries. Cost me about 10 bucks per watch to get replaced and since I was giving them as gifts I didnt have time to send them back. I have shopped at Amazon many times and this is my worst experience to date. Im also very dissappointed with Skagen since I own several of there watches... Dont expect anything will be done about it since Im just a small buyer,unfortunately for me! Nice but...  On: 2006-06-27Received the watch promptly in the mail. Upon opening the package, the watch was not ticking. Thought it maybe needed winding or the stem pushed in to start it but neither worked. Must have had a dead battery. Too bad becasue the wacth was very nice quality looking and was at a very reasonable price. Returned the watch to Amazon for which they gave a prompt refund but it DID NOT include my ~$5 return shipping. When requesting the return authorization online, it stated that due to the return being their fault (DOA) my return shipping would be refunded. Well, it was not and the explaination I got was that since it initially shipped free that cost was deducted from the refund. So it turns out that I wound up paying ~$5 for a watch that I no longer have...THAT SUCKS!!! So 4 stars for the shipping and looks of the watch itself. But (0) stars for AMAZON due to the fact that it was DOA and wound up costing me ~$5 for the return postage. Nanduri On: 2006-06-27It is really thin and very good looking one. The only thing that is missing is the date. Worth Buying On: 2006-06-26This is a great watch. Skagen is a good name brand. Battery had to be replaced. Price was excellent at 29.99 Watch was a vegetable On: 2006-06-26As soon as I saw the deal, I ordered this watch. When i received it, it was absolutely non-functional. It was not running at all. I talked to a customer rep on line as well as from a retail store. It seems the battery had all drained. I did not like this and I returned this product to Amazon and got the credit back. Looked nice but didn't work On: 2006-06-26I received this watch only to find that it did not work. Amazon then sent me another watch which also did not work. Finally I gave up. This is a nice looking bracelet but not a very good watch. Its not appealing On: 2006-06-26Its machinery might be very good but loko wise I didnt find it worth the money... Thin On: 2006-06-10The watch itself looks good and fits well, however the wristband is kind of thin, that it could almost be mistaken for a womans watch. Overall the leather quality is excellent, and the style and design is very modern. Pros: Looks good, has simplicity. Cons: Leather band isnt "manly" enough. Overall: Its a good watch to have in my collection, but isnt as "all-occasion" as Id like it to be. 4 Stars. watch stopped working in 5 weeks  On: 2006-05-26It had good looks and was very light. But I was shocked to see my new watch stop working in 5 weeks time. However amazon gave me a refund of the money. It is definitely worth the price if it works well. Great watch On: 2006-05-04I have owned this watch for several months now and I can honestly say that its better quality than other watches that I own that were hundreds of dollars more expensive. The watch is relatively thin and light. The leather band is high quality. But most of all, I have found that no matter what I have scraped the watch against, neither the crystal or the metal case has scratched. I am notorious for destroying watches this way. My $800 Swiss watch is no match for this little ticker. Im not sure what the other reviewer was expecting for less than $100, but I know I am certainly happy! |
