Poor display design     On: 2008-03-28

In the sellers image of this watch the month-date digits are almost equal in size with the hour-minute digits line. But in the watch Ive got, the upper digits line, just as the other reviewer stated, is smaller and shaded , leaving more room for the hour-minute line, wich is larger. No other portion of the screen is shaded, only the upper edge where the date is. And its kinda annoying. But if you make a turn around for the best angle the light comes (especially from the side), or outside in even light, its ok then.
The good part is that this is a very accurate watch, as far as mine goes. I measured a 1.5 sec/month accuracy for it. So I dont need to buy the more expensive atomic watch. Its a big plus and thats why Im giving it 4 stars.
Also the extensible band is very nice. The watch is easy to wear.

I am very disappointed with this watch. The buttons have to be pressed extremely hard to make contact. The top display line is so small and shaded that I can only read it by using the indiglo face light. The alarm feature is very difficult to set. I have owned several previous Timex watches of similar design, which I loved. Timex should have actually let someone wear this one for a week before putting it into production.
