But there was one huge problem after I got it out of the box, the clock didnt work. Everything else like the barometer, stopwatch, etc. worked except the most important item in a watch. Now I have to send the watch back with a $10.00 that is required, wait for however long it takes them to repair it, then re-receive the watch. I was surprised on how big the watch was. I thought the picture did not do the watch any justice. Anyways, the color makes it look sweet. The only problem is that there are a lot of buttons. I wish there were less instead of having 3 on each side. Nice watch to have, just disappointed with the manufacturing. great watch, but could be better... by: awdavis22 On: 2005-12-31 i just received this watch about a week ago and it looks and feels like a high quality watch. for the price, this watch is great. after quickly skimming the owners manual i was able to figure out how to set the date, time, etc. this watch comes with many features. it has a thermometer, barometer, temperature, digital clock, alarm, date, and stopwatch functions. the watch itself is quite large, but the back of the face is curved so that it is extremely comfortable, even more comfortable than my other, smaller watches. the band and clasp seem to be of a high quality and they allow for a tight comfortable fit. my only complaint about this watch concerns the altimeter and barometer functions. both are set to one another (when you set one, the other adjusts accordingly). this leads to a near impossibility (as far as i can figure out) of being able to set both correctly. also, the barometer is not able to tell a change in pressure, it is only able to calculate a relative change in pressure relative to the change in altitude. there is something in the manual about setting it at sea level but i live nowhere near any ocean or sea level area. overall, the altimeter is able to accurately calculate a change in altitude from (a) to (b) although (a) and (b) may not be the correct altitude. *** after about a year of use, the band has broken |
