Great!     On: 2007-12-17

This product came in great time and it is in awesome condition! My husband is going to love this!
Very Nice Watch     On: 2007-12-04

This watch is great for the price I paid. Everything about it suggest it should be an expensive watch. The size is perfect for a small-medium wrist. The case and dial together are about 39 mm. If you want a bigger watch, the 8926 is 43 mm and is automatic as opposed to quartz. My only gripe is that second hand is not completely aligned with the tick marks, which is why it only gets 4 stars instead of 5.
Nice watch for the price...     On: 2007-11-17

I was expecting a little bit more. I have a couple Fossil watches that seem quite a bit heavier and better built than this one. Then again they cost about twice what this one did. Overall not a bad watch for the price. If your looking for a nice watch for little money this is your best bet.
"Surprisingly Nice"     On: 2007-11-05

This watch is a very stylish and classy model; different than the 8926, but at the cost you cant beat it!!! When I first got it, I was impressed with the quality. The band looks very similar to the Rolex Sub. You wont be disappointed with this watch. It looks much more expensive than it is, and youll definitely get compliments. It shines very nice.
Great watch for the price.     On: 2007-10-19

Nicely packaged Invicta watch. Beautifully finished.
Reliable after a year of abuse on the wrist of an adolescent.
Purchased as a gift to be his first real adult watch. I have no doubts it will still be running when hes a man.

good every day watch     On: 2007-10-16

Purchased a week ago. A bit smaller than I thought. It actually came with my exact time already set! what are the odds!? At any rate; a good every day watch, seems to keep good time. Only bad comment concerns the size and the bezel ( which I couldnt move). I think its worth the money I paid.
beautiful watch     On: 2007-10-15

if you like a classic design, solid construction this is it. I have had it for several months now and its definitely a winner. Also, price is unbeatable.
Solid Economical Watch     On: 2007-10-07

This watch replaced my "Helbros" watch of similar size and build. The Invicta watch cost $10 more but feels like hundreds more. The watch fills my need for stainless diver look. It has a good feel and looks like a quality piece.

The ratcheting ring is slippery, not particularly functional. Looks shiny and polished- in contrast to other diver watches with brushed finishes this one stands out. Band has row of polished links- has a bit of bling-ness to it.

I am very hard on my watches, this one has survived several drops to hard floors. These usually finish off watches that are not engineered well.

For the price, it's more than perfect.     On: 2007-08-24

Ive never owned a metal banded watch and didnt want to spend an enormous amount of money to try one. The quality of the watch at this price is amazing.

The "smaller" size (39mm) is actually a plus since it doesnt feel like I have a chunk of metal on my wrist. I also personally like the quartz movement since it continues to run if I happen not to wear it for a few days (unlike the automatics)

Im not sure you can buy a better watch at this price. Fantastic look, great build quality. Dont hesitate.
Great bargain     On: 2007-08-22

Got alot of complements on the watch and people thought I paid over 200 dollars for the great looking name brand watch.
Wonderful watch     On: 2007-08-08

I owned a basic Timex leather watch and it refused to keep the time correctly (the battery was fine but it kept falling behind). I began a more earnest search for a nicer watch and stumbled across this Invicta 8932.

I owned a Wenger previously that I loved but the watchband continually snapped its pins so I was a little hesitant about purchasing another metal band. However, once it arrived I was impressed with the thickness of the links and the heft of the watch itself. It is definitely a solid watch but not so overwhelming and ostentatious as other divers that on the market.

I have received numerous compliments on the Invictas appearance and love the finish and quality of this timepiece. I am not a collector by any means but I truly love this watch. Excellent price for the quality as well!
Nice. Very Nice
by: Anonymous    On: 2007-05-26

I just got my watch today and Im quite impressed with it, as was my jeweler who sized the band for me.

Its a very beautiful watch and everything works just as it should.

There really isnt anything else I can say that others have not.

I have a friend with a Rolex Submariner and in terms of looks, it has nothing on this watch.

While it is, like many other dive watches, styled after the Rolex, it is distinctive in its own right.

I actually prefer the scalloped bezel, which has a secure feel and is easily turned, except, of course, in the direction in which it is designed not to turn, being a unidirectional bezel.

I love it.
***************
Ive now had this watch for a few weeks. Its the most accurate watch I have, bar none. I reset it today, 6/19/07, the first time since I first set it on May 25. Comparing it to my atomic clock by which it was originally set, it has only gained about 3-4 seconds. Thats pretty good for a watch in this price range.
High quality for the price!     On: 2007-05-23

I bought this watch a month ago and when it arrived I was quite impressed. It has good weight to it, meaning the metal quality is good. Ive had other watches that were very light and broke within weeks. Its also constructed well. There is very little movement in the band that is not intended. The links move as they are supposed to. I am a Dish Machine Operator (dishwasher) right now, so I bought this watch for its water resistance. For one month it has been sprayed with hot water off and on for 8 hours a day, five days a week. There is no condensation whatsoever on the interior of the glass. I also like the fact that it comes with a year warranty. It looks very nice, and the dial around the face of the watch is good for timing things in the oven! hehe! The only thing that I dont like is the little magnifying glass over the date. It makes the face of the watch only slightly more difficult to clean than other watches. A very minor inconvenience.
GREAT BUY!!!!     On: 2007-05-21

Amazing Quality for the price! I bought this watch for my boyfriend at Christmas. It is now May. No complaints what so ever. Great durablity and wonderful finish. Looks much more expensive than it is.

My boyfriend is very rough on his watchs. This watch still looks as good as the day he opened the box.
Great service and product.     On: 2007-05-13

The watch arrived promptly and nicely packaged. The watch is handsome and honestly more than I expected. I will do business with this company without hesitacion again.
Invicta Men's Professional Diver Watch - Black Dial 8932     On: 2007-04-24

Great watch. Ive had the watch for one month. It looks and feels like a high quality watch. It is accurate and easy to read. the bezel is easy to use/set. I use it swimming - no leaks.
Great Watch for the Price     On: 2007-02-13

I currently own the 8926 Automatic and was so impressed with its appearance that I purchased six of these for the groomsmen in my wedding. I went with the quartz version because the guys like the look, but would probably not like having to set the watch after not wearing it for a couple days. Also, the price is a great deal. The only major difference between the 8932 and 8926, other than one being an automatic, is the size. I did notice quite a difference in size when theyre next to each other, but alone, the size is fine.
I would also like to add that the seller (not Amazon) was very quick on processing and delivery. All watches arrived functioning and free of damage. I would highly recommend purchasing from them.
Great value!! (If it holds up!)     On: 2007-02-11

I had originally bought a TAG Heuer Aquaracer that looked just like this one, except it cost TEN TIMES as much! The TAG looked too big on my wrist, so I sold it on eBay and bought this nice-looking Invicta knock-off. Nice! For one-tenth the price of a TAG, this is a nice looking watch, and IF it holds up to the test of time I will be very impressed. If it dies in a year, Ill be disappointed. Well see....
Invicta watch     On: 2007-01-12

this is my forth watch from Invicta. Love them great quality and you cant beat the price
Great watch, great price, great service:     On: 2007-01-12

This Invicta watch is a great buy .. great looking at a great price. It may be the least expensive watch I own, but looks like the most expensive. A guy cant have too many watches, you know. Ill be getting another Invicta soon. Thanks.
Couldn't be happier!     On: 2006-12-15

Just received my Invicta 8932 (the smaller quartz version) and I couldnt be happier. It looks very classy and has that quality feel that you find on similar watches that cost thousands of dollars. Save your money, buy one of these and use whats left over on a trip to the Bahamas or Figi and really use it on a dive trip! The bezel is a little loose but I dont mind that because Id rather have it that way anyway (easier to use). If you want a great looking, classy, cool watch thats not oversized go for it! You wont regret it.
Looks like a Submariner but keeps good time     On: 2006-12-04

A remarkable watch for the money. The bezel took a bit to break in, and it is not as easy to use as the "coin" type, but the watch works perfectly and wont cost a few hundred dollars to repair every few years, as Rolexes do. Looks great too.
A solid classic watch     On: 2006-11-10

This is my fourth Invicta Watch. I still have my other three working just fine. Excellent craftsmanship. A solid classic time piece.
Not a bad watch for 50 bucks     On: 2006-10-05

Ive owned more than 100 watches in the past 30 years, most of which have been dive watches (Seiko, Omega, Rolex, etc) Needless to say, those watches were between $400-$3,500. I wasnt expecting a whole lot from this Invicta but I figured, for 50 bucks it was worth a try.
So far it seems to be a decent watch for the price. The manual is rather ridiculous tho(in my opinion). It presumes that you have no clue what a wristwatch does. I had to laugh when it said: "the battery will have to replaced eventually". Every watch I have owned that was battery operated at least mentioned the lifetime of the battery... 1 year, 3 years, 10 years. I also think the manual could have been more specific as to the model I bought. It is a generic manual which talks about all the types of watches and what the hands are for (chronographs, etc). It assumes the consumer is an idiot as far as wristwatches go. Other than these minor observations Id say that if you want a nice looking watch that seems fairly well made and is accurate, and you want it to be under $100.... this Invicta isnt bad at all.
Not a Rolex by cost but just as nice!     On: 2006-10-04

I had always wanted a Rolex divers watch but at $4,000 to $5,000 it would be hopelessly out of my price range. The Invicta looks "close enough" although not as beefy as the Rolex. Im amazed at its accuracy for such an inexpensive watch. It feels great and looks great. I only wished they used Tritium or something similar on the hands and face so it would glow longer. Its always a plus when you can see the time in the dark. I dont intend to scuba dive with it but Im not worried if I take it snorkeling. In short, the watch is a bargain!
Always wanted a Rolex     On: 2006-08-16

Just discovd. Invicta a few mos.ago.Nice watches, running the gamut from inexpensive to sky high, competing w/ Rolex, etc. My 8932 looks just like a Rolex Submariner. Very pleased;very quick service from Amazon!
Case diameter is 39mm, not 43mm like the 8926     On: 2006-06-30

Amazons description is wrong on the case diameter. I bought this watch and the 8926 automatic thinking they were the same size (43mm with crown). Not so, this watch is quite a bit smaller on the wrist, not as heavy(no automatic movement), and the unidirectional bezel is much more loose and cheap feeling.

The model # on the back of this watch is 8932A

The 8926 is a MUCH nicer watch and has been on sale for 70 at various times.
Beautiful and striking men's watch     On: 2006-06-26

The watch is the same design as the popular automatic version, but Ive found that watches that depend upon movement for power are notoriously unreliable. Thus, I opted for the quartz powered one. The watch design is bold and striking, with classic styling, and a face size that is just right. The box it comes in is deceptively bulky and unwieldy, but the watch itself is a gem. A great gift for any man.
Invicta's overlooked dive watch
by: mikiehorn    On: 2005-12-12

Purchasing the #8932 Invicta dive watch for a family member Christmas present - Ive come away very much impressed. The 8932 apparently shares the case, crystal mineral glass watchface, screwdown crown and elegent lightweight stainless steel bracelet with its more expensive automatic movement 8926 sibling. Matter of factly - it is hard to tell the difference between this watch and Invictas $300+ 9937 Swiss ETA powered automatic diver without close inspection.

It is my humble opinion that Invicta is the leader of the affordable price dive watch market - including such giants as Seiko and Citizen - OK maybe even Casio. Invicta does not have the brand name awareness of the public and large commercial outlets to display their wonderful dive watches. Once youve purchased an Invicta Pro-Diver series watch - you will be a fan. The fit, finish, overall quality and design make this watch a model you should consider as a price range leader.

Case: The 316L brushed stainless steel case at 40mm (43mm with crown) once considered a large watch - is now an "average" size for dive watches. The stainless steel watchback might be annoying for those with nickel metal skin allergies - the mineral glass display or "exhibition" watch backs of the 8926 and 9937 being preferred by many divers. Mineral glass is not as scratch resistant as sapphire crystal as found in the 9937 - which can only be imprinted by diamond - but is "good enough" for average wear and certainly keeps the watch very affordable. A date "cyclops" or window is found at the 3 oclock position. The watch is rated and tested to 200m (660 ft) - that which qualifies it as a "Professional Diver".

Bezel: The black bezel is a very scratch resistant, uni-directional (120 clicks to the hour) scalloped edge (like the Omega Seamaster) diving tool. A "coin edge" (like the Rolex Submariner) bezel is preferred by many divers - being less slippery to manipulate when wet.

Bracelet: Invictas ss bracelet - with polished center links - is an industry standard - best compared to a Rolex Oyster bracelet for the Submariner series. It utilizes a foldover deployment clasp without a wetsuit deployment clasp as found on more expensive dive watch bracelets. Held together by pins - it is important to throughly rinse the bracelet after immersion in salt water.

Movement: The 8932 uses a quartz "asian" sourced movement. These will normally keep time +/- 15 second per week and are actually much more accurate than the more expensive Invicta 8926 Citizen/Miyota 8215 - 21 jewel automatic movements that can be a minute or more off each week. The 9937 uses a Swiss ETA 2824-2 25 jewel automatic movement reflected in its $300+ price tag...Watch battery life varies as per movement source and battery quality. Most batteries should last 3-5 years according to Invicta users I know.

Conclusion: I am a big fan of Invicta dive watches. For the money, Invicta Pro-Diver series watches are an industry leader. Sourced among many different asian assemblers - the fit, finish and quality may vary somewhat from batch to batch - but the overall reputation among watch collectors of the Invicta Pro-Diver series is very high!

Why not 5 stars? My personal preferences are automatic movement watches - not quartz. The stainless steel back can irritate the skin of allergic individuals. Mineral glass crystal - used to hold the price - is prone to scuffing and minor scratching. Sapphire is too expensive for this category of watch. As a diver - I prefer a "sawtooth" or "coin" edged bezel to the scalloped bezel currently offered by Invicta. The bracelet offers no wetsuit deployment clasp - a feature absent in all Invicta divers thru the 9937 series. Some or none of these should prevent you from considering this watch or its 8926 fraternal twin as your next dive watch.

Amazon and its sellers do a good job to deliver the Invicta goods. All models come with a one year warranty - Invicta offering a 5 year warranty extension for a modest fee. I am the owner of 7 Invicta dive and chronometer watches. You can learn more about Invicta and other affordable watches sold by Amazon at InvictaTalk.com.
