I cant compare this watch to a jeweled movement watch as I have never owned one. This watch is a quartz movement which, though the craftsmanship of the jeweled movements is not there, the accuracy is second to none. Everything else about this watch says "quality", from the weight of the watch and the band, the constructio of the band, the smoothness of the adjustment mechanism. This watch feels like I will be leaving it in my will to my grandchildren.
