GPS is weak     On: 2004-07-27

Although this seems like a great product BEWARE that the GPS loses the signal at the drop of a hat. If there is so much as a single leaf in your way it will cut out. VERY annoying. When it has a signal it works great - but those times are few and far between. The GPS receiver is also difficult to wear - it is bulky and the strap doesnt work very well. I hope Timex will improve this product in the future.

Excellent concept, fairly decent product     On: 2004-07-16

I purchased this product several weeks ago, and have tested most of its features. The functions are very helpful for my marathon training and are very easy to use/understand. The GPS distance tracking should only be used if you have no other means to track distances, because if its cloudy outside, your accuracy goes from 99% to 95%. Other than that, its a great product.
