More Information

Fair Item     On: 2007-06-27

Im new to Casio and to digital watch in general. So my review could be biased. I think its a fairly good watch with many useful functions. Really short battery life.
Very nice, but odd limitations     On: 2007-05-21

Overall a nice watch. Good screen contrast and everything works as advertised. The interface isnt as intuitive as it might be and the calculator has no "Clear Entry" functionality. Im glad I bought it.
Poorly Designed Telephone Screen     On: 2007-05-06

I have used a Casio Databank DB 150 for several years. I upgraded to this because it has more storage capacity. This watch is a great disappointment. The information is very poorly displayed. On the old watch, the name and phone nmuber were on the same screen. On this watch, you get to the name screen, and then have to push another button to see the number. The numbers do not display the way a phone number should. A phone number should display as xxx-xxx-xxxx. The DB 150 used this type of display. This watch displays the numbers like this

xx xx xx
xx xx xx

If the phone number is 123-234-5678 it would display it like this

12 32 34
5678

I cant believe that they really designed it like this. This watch is not functional to me. I would not recommend this watch to anyone looking to store phone numbers
Great watch     On: 2007-01-21

This watch replaces a 20 year older Casio Data Bank. The watch meets my expectations of a new replacement. However, the band needed at least two links removed. There are no instructions that come with it for the needed adjustment. I had to take it to a good jewler to get the work done. the cost was 1/2 the cost of the watch from Amazon.

Hope this one will give 20 + years of service. That will make it more than worth the cost.
Great Watch     On: 2007-01-18

This digital watch is very elegant and has many uses. It also looks great on my wrist.
Im glad I purchased it. Casio is a great company.
It was two-thirds the price i would have paid in Australia by buying it from Amazon US and shipping it down.
I hope Amazon OCEANIA opens one day.
Thanks

Techie Watch     On: 2007-01-11

Great value. Display is not as good as I thought it would be but for the price it works. My dad loves it.
A DREAM WATCH!!!

it had all the stuff I would need. never thought i would find such a great watch. the LCD display is great. the watch has all the featuures of a watch and an organizer and more for an extremely cheap price. I got it eight years ago and i am still using it today
Calculator/Stopwatch     On: 2006-01-29

This was a replacement for a Casio Data Bank 300 watch bought several years ago. This one has more features and the main difference are the new large buttons to operate the various functions. It has a better quality metal band. The price is very attractive and it is extremely well built. I have received several good comments from friends.
numbers wear off..     On: 2005-12-27

Wore this for 2-3 months and all the keys were completely without writing any more. Hard to see, hard to type, hard to use. Timex Ironman DataLink is the watch I recommend.
Overall: a big disapointment     On: 2005-11-22

This watch does what it is supposed to do, but in such a fashion that it makes it unpleasant to use it. I am dropping it in favour of a Timex Data Link, after a week of use.

I was looking for a watch to store my contacts and also schedules, especially birthdays and anniversaries which for me are completely impossible to remember. I used to have an earlier Casio Databank which neatly stored them for me and I decided to go for the better and more modern model, supposing Casio had improved what I once had.

The Hardware: Very good looking, but AFTER A FEW HOURS OF USE it starts showing all kinds of scrateches, so if you are going to wear it on your wrist go for the plastivc model.
The display is difficult to read and Casio has managed to use two overlapping screens one with a bue-ish tone whick makes it impossible to read, the utilities menu, especially if you use the also blue light.
The keypad of the calculator, which is also used to enter data is quite difficult to use and unfriendly with your fingertips.

The Software. The utilities menu is well thought, but once you get to the utilities themselves, the disappointment comes, data is difficult to enter, and untastefully displayed, a pity for such a good looking watch.
The worst of all (and this is my fault) there is no schedule mode, only five alarms with which I can enter my precious data to remeber my mommys birthday and the projects deadline. I have no use for this watch. Althoug scratched all over, after one week, it will make a fine birthday present for some kid to store his girfriends phone numbers.

Casio, come on guys, design something that connects with the PC so we dont have to punch all our data in. It cant be that difficult.

The label on the keys rub off! Otherwise, nice watch.     On: 2004-04-21

Nice watch, easy to read and store info. Keys have a good feel, rubber like. There are two layers of LCD, the bottom one (which most screens use) is easier to read and large. Standard input using the keypad for letters. Phone numbers formatted a little strange.
After owning it a year, ALL of the keys are now completely blank.I guess my sleeve rubbed off the printing on the soft rubber keys. I will have to send the watch in for warranty repair I hope...
