As an avid watch collector, I am relatively new to Chase-Durer, but after seeing one on a friend and later at a jewelery store, I knew I just had to buy one. Let me say right now I do NOT own this particular model -- yet. But I AM familiar with it. I have handled one for several days now and there is NO doubting the quality of this timepiece. None whatsoever. First off you can tell simply by handling it that it is a very solid and sturdy watch. One of the heavier watches I have seen in many years, it doesnt look overly large (not like my Suunto watches) but it certainly demands attention. What you cant really see in the pictures is the watch face itself which is very checkerboard-like in appearance...but in a really cool way. Simply superb styling makes this a watch that I will be very anxious to purchase. Now my problem lies with what color I want to buy? I have only seen the black/white face model, and I think Id also like the yellow/white face, too but Im sure they all look absolutely worth every penny. As I caution anyone before you spend a great deal of money on ANY timepiece, do your homework and dont buy based on what they look like simply by viewing a picture on-line. You really MUST see a model in person to get a real feel for what it really looks like and how it will look on your wrist. Do that and shop around, when it comes to quality and looks, the Chase-Durer Trackmaster Pro can hold its own with virtually any model I have ever seen. An exceptional timepiece.
