Takes bumps and submersion in salt water very well Solid watch  On: 2008-02-07I have had this watch since Sept. 2001. 6 months ago the battery died. 6 years is pretty good. It took a while to get it fixed. It needed a battery and then it would not keep time, so the watch company had it a few months before they got it up and going 75$ later. I have put this watch through the ringer. Face is hard to scratch. I ended up taking the metal band off and putting a rubber one on. Just a matter of preference I guess. Tritium gas luminescence is the best. I wont go back to anything else. You can see it a mile a way in the dark. Solid watch and companion. Looks good for dress and play. Recommend it highly, but I paid a little less for it. F-117 on the back is sweet looking. Nice watch, finish wears On: 2006-07-09Ive had this watch for almost 7 years now. It keeps good time, and the date, rotating bezel and adjust screw work nicely (still). I bought it expressly for visibility at night and the luminous hands (all 3) and dots are great. Only criticism: the black finish wears surprisingly fast: a little on the watch but a lot on the band, particularly in contact with sweat. Which is too bad, as the black finish is very distinctive when new. I would buy it again, anyway. |
