I am very pleased with both the watch I bought and the vendor. I have had several watches like this over the past many years. When the watch band breaks, I just go ahead and buy a new watch. Every one works perfecly, exactly like I expect. This is the first time I purchased one online, and the service exceeded my expectations. The product arrived before the promised minimum delivery time. As the title to this review states, this is a clear case of excellent product and excellent service. To all involved, I say "good job, thanks," On: 2008-02-10
Great watch ,has all the basic features you need , great price too.I use this watch for work at a construction site. The band on it makes it look a little cheap ,but other than that its great ! If your going to use it for work or some where like a beach or some place casual its fine, but not great for going out to a nice place or function. All in all its a great buy !

This watch in my personal opinion is a great multi-task watch that is very addictive after the first few days. I bought my original watch and Wal-Mart and didnt use it for a while. Then later when I had a more complex schedule I started using it. Some good quick to notice things are that it is light and you ussually cant even feel it. Another thing A calender so I dont have to remember the date and its abily to take alot of damage. If somebody ever asked me to recommend a watch on TV I would suggest this one.

We have liked this style of Casio since 1981. We wish that they still made the 100 meter model that was like this, but this 50 meter version is still pretty good. On: 2007-10-14
I have owned three of these watches over the past 15 years. None of them have ever stopped working. In fact, I use the "old" ones while doing work around the house like painting. It is a simple, lightweight watch that I can use while working out, going to the beach, etc. It is also a great travel watch due to its dual-time feature. Whenever I travel overseas, which can be for weeks at a time, it is always the watch I bring. I have looked at replacing it with fancier Casio watches, but I have never found a good reason to. I have owned several Casio W71 watches in the last 10 years. I wear one continuously. I work, swim, garden and do everything while wearing this watch. In fact I scatch the face, break the bands and use them until they are worn out. This purchase is to replace a W71 that is about 3 years old.
The ordering, shipping, and billing was no problem. I will probably buy another W71 in 3 years if they are still available. On: 2007-07-12
Just like the Casio F91W-1 that everyone is probably most familiar with, with really 1 main addition. A timer countdown. There is another main feature: Dual-time (worthwhile if your whole family lives in different time zone than you or say- if you work in LA and NYC frequently). Its basically just another mode that will display another time. Sometimes it can be annoying if you dont realize which mode youre on and you have the wrong time displayed but thats almost a "user error".
Bottom line- the original F91 was great and this just adds a timer count down. Ive owned them both loved them both. Lost them both unfortunately... but buying the W71 again. On: 2007-01-29
great watches Have had about ten of these in the past 20 years. None of them has quite working... I break the bands and obliterate the faces (melting scratching etc.). they resist water and solvents (gas, paint thinner, etc.) And they keep good time. On: 2007-01-28

I find the Casio W71-1V Sports Watch is exactly what I wanted as a second watch to use for work outs. Once I finally understood the instructions it has done everything I needed. It also is small which for me is good. On: 2006-10-01
The watch has all functions I need. Alarm countdown, stop watch. It is simple and light weight. I can wear it to do all kind of sports. On: 2005-10-08
Ive used this model for past 10+ years. I dont remember when I first used this one, but the last one I had finally died after about 10 years, earlier this spring. So, I bought another one, exactly same model. I dont remember whether I had this model or another cheaper model before the previous one.
But the previous one went with me from the cold winters of Chicago to the sizzling summers of Iraq where temperature was well over 140+ degrees (I know this b/c others with Suunto watch with thermometer told me). Used it when I was swimming, kayaking, running, biking, etc. etc. I remember changing the battery at least once and changed the strap 2 or 3 times.
So, when the last one died in April of 2005, I went out and bought another one. This one should last another 10 years. What more can you ask for for $20? On: 2005-10-07
