![]() Invicta Men's 8926C Pro Diver Collection Coin-Edge Automatic Watch By: Invicta Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 124 More Information Against my better judgement... And after a highly rated Orient died on me after 3 days I ordered one of these hoping I would get a "good" one. I received this watch yesterday afternoon (8/5). Right out of the box it would not start until I pulled the crown all the way out. When I unscrewed the crown and wound it a couple of times to start it did not move. When I pulled the crown out all of way it started up (note that the instructions in the box say the watch should STOP when the crown is pulled all of the way out). Within the first hour I noticed that the second hand would either hesitate momentarily or stop then skip a couple of seconds on the dial several times between the 1 & 3 oclock positions. Several hours later I took it off and set it on my desk. 20 minutes later I looked down to see that it had stopped running. I shook it several times and it did not start. I unscrewed and wound the crown several rotations and still nothing. I then pulled the crown all the way out and it started to run again. I went to bed shortly after that. I got up this morning and noted the watch had stopped again. So I went through the same routine again to get it going. Two hours later I look at my wrist to check the time and noticed that the thing had stopped AGAIN! So I went through the "routine" but this time it did not start up..... I sat there in my car dumbfounded at the situation when it just started running again with no interaction or input from me. Then it stopped again for about 10 seconds or so then ran for approximately 3-4 minutes and stopped again. Shaking it had no effect. So, at this point I have given up on any of the "off brand" mechanical watches. This one goes back for a refund, and I think I will stick with one of the major manufacturers. I bought this expecting to get a $80 watch, and what I got was worse junk than the Rolex replica I bought in S. Korea 7 years ago. What is sad is that my replica runs like a finely tuned machine and has not had an issue the entire time I have owned it. Excellent Timepiece with marvellous looks. Definitely worth the price. Ok, so I ordered this watch on 25th July and got it on 4th Aug. So it took looooong time to arrive. However, when I opened the package, it was beautiful. From look and material quality perspective, it is definitely worth every penny paid. I was always using Casio path finder watches, and had a desire to have one analog decent watch. Also wanted to have something similar to Rolex Submariner, because never I am going to invest 5000 bucks on a watch. Newayz, so this watch is really constructed well with good quality bracelet and beautiful dial. It really resembles a lot with Rolex. However, i didnt compared all the minute differences but I would recommend this to anyone who is fond of wearing decent automatic watch. Also wanted to highlight few points on which I was confused before ordering this watch: 1: The only observable difference between this (8926c) and 8926 model is the coin edge dial. So this one is exactly same as present in Rolex Submariner but the one present in 8926 is bit different. 2: Bracelet of this watch have lock with safety clasp, although it is not mentioned in Amazon website, so dont get confused with it. As I have received the watch today only, I havent measured how accurate or how durable the watch is. So this 5 star rating is mostly because of the appearance of the watch. Might update the rating or review some later date in case there is some issue. Although, I really hope I dont have to come back to update this. :) watch doesn't work I received watch as as a gift, after picking it out. It looks nice, but does NOT keep time. what good is a watch that does not keep time? I wanted to return it but the return window had elapsed. Do not be confused by its good appearance, it does not work my loving submariner Hace poco compre un reloj de este modelo y una vez en la mano tengo que decir que es impresionante, con buenos materiales y una iluminacion en oscuro espectacular.....lo unico que le veo que no esta ajustado del todo es el bisel giratorio ycuesta de enrroscar la maneta de las horas ,por lo demas un buen reloj. First one a no go.... Watch didnt work. The watch would stop at the 25 second mark. Was returned and will try another one. I liked the way it looked and felt on my wrist. Hopefully, the next one will work properly. Update to follow. Nice looking but can't keep time Ive had this watch for 6 months. Its a nice looking watch and solid (and heavy enough). There are two significant issues 1) The watch loses a two to four minutes every day -- this means I have to reset the watch time regularly. Its nothing I can count on anymore. Note, that at first it kept time fine which is what many of the above reviews include. 2) If you dont wear it all day / every day it stops. (you dont have to wear it when you sleep). A friend of mine has the same watch at work and has the same problems as I. Interestingly, he tried to dissuade me from getting the watch but I didnt think a new watch would have time keeping issues so I bought it anyways.... Neither of us would recommend purchasing this watch. If you want a watch that looks great, and only to wear it when you go out to look good get this watch, otherwise I would avoid it. Loving this watch I purchased this watch as a watch to wear to work, where I need a metal band. I seem to be surrounded by leather banded watches. The more I wear this watch, the more I love this watch! The black on black, the coin dial, the brushed metal and contrasting polished bracelet, its a great looking watch. As much as I like the appearance of the band, its light and a little rattly. Ive gotten used to it, but it doesnt feel as solid or heavy as Id like. It is quite rigid and functional though. Let me get back to how much I love the look and feel of this watch, after owning it for a month or so. Originally I wanted a quartz, as Ive been well served by them in the past but for the price I thought why not try it? I have been pretty hard on this watch in the short time its been in my hands, the worst offense dragging the face across a cinder block, and no scratches on the crystal! I do think the exhibition case back is a little frivolous. Its hard to see the mechanism as the bracelet is in the way. Would be better served in combination with a leather band. This watch keeps reasonable time for an automatic, it gained 2 minutes over the last two weeks. Long term I cant say, but I hope that this love affair lasts a long time. I have some other, more expensive, sad, lonely watches now. After one year of use - Outstanding I have been wearing this watch for a year in all kinds of conditions and it is SUPERB. It is second only to my Omega which costs over 30 TIMES as much, and I still wear the Invicta regularly. It is great in the water and has endured dust, knocks, and all kinds of outdoor wear. The finish is still outstanding and the crystal is near mint - a feat for Invicta considering how Ive worn it. It looks like the vaulted Submariner (if only Invicta did not have to stamp their name on the case, but probably necessary as it looks so much like its expensive counterpart). The watch keeps excellent time and has a great reserve when you take it off (it runs almost a day most often after wearing, pretty good for the money). I have had no problems with the band as you read in some other reviews. This is perhaps the most fun you can have in a quality watch under $100.00. Good Value for money Already too much has been said about this watch. So all I need to say that it is really a good watch at the price you can get. Very pleased with the 8926c I just received this watch today and I have to say Im impressed. For the money you cant go wrong. Invicta does a nice job with the packaging and the finish on this watch. I love big watches and was a little worried this one may be too small at only 40mm but it looks great. The bracelet is a much higher quality than I expected and very easy to adjust. The japanese movement is very smooth, better than expected. Amazon did a fantastic job with the shipping. Overall, for this price point you really get a nice piece. Very nice stylish watch I really like this watch. It has a similar look to some much more expensive brands. It has a nice weight and feels good on my wrist. The self winding mechanism is pretty good as long as you wear the watch regularly or purchase a winding stand for it. Overall, I am very happy with it. Great Watch Considering the Price First off, I am not a watch connoisseur. I dont know much about automatic watch movement and not overly concerned if the watch is a couple seconds off each month. In fact, I set mine 7 minutes ahead so Im not late. Im just the average guy looking for the best watch I can find for the lowest price. Now thats out of the way, I picked up this watch from Amazon for less than $60 during one of their specials in December. This watch can not be beat for the price. It has a solid feel and looks great. Set up was easy and the second hand movement of the watch is smooth. It looks just like the Rolex Submariner. I personally rather wear a Rolex look-a-like than a fake Rolex. This is one of the nicest sub $100 watches you can buy. A $61 bucks watch running at +6sec/day AWESOME Firts If theres an option of 10 star I definitely give this rating for this timepiece,,I had this for $61 during the sale period,,its about a month now after minitoring the accuracy its running within COSC specs..I felt bad when I compared this to my Tags and Omegas which I paid 30x the price, only few seconds difference on accuracy.bad thing was people keep on asking me if it is a Rolex and kind of risky to wear at strange places,Im planning to remove the cyclops to avoid people curiuosity.I found a youtube video instructions.,I absolutely recommend this specially those newbies on mechanical watches,,You gonna love this. Excellent watch at a great price!!! I bought this watch last month and I cant be happier with the watch. Great construction, works great and great looks. Thanks Amazon for the great price. Invicta Mens Pro Diver 8926C The first watch I received was faulty, it kept stopping, usually with the second hand on the 8. I contacted amazon to return it and get a replacement, I thought it would be worth one more go at £60. Amazon almost immediately sent me another watch(before I sent the bad one back), the new one has been good so far(2 weeks later). Very pleased with the watch for the price, and extremely pleased with the service from Amazon. The watch seems to be pretty much bang on for time accuracy, I was expecting it to gain or lose time like a lot of automatics but it seems to be OK at the moment. It is running 15 seconds fast but thats because it doesnt have a hacking feature to properly set the watch which is a shame but you cant beat it at the price. Very Nice Watch Read a a lot of the reviews and decided to get this watch. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I wanted a watch with a sweep second hand and one that I dont have to worry about getting wet. The watch looks a lot nicer in person then in the pictures. I am so pleased I am thinking about getting the 9937 as well... Great watch!! This is my first Invicta watch, there will be others :) It really is beautiful piece. You cant go wrong at this price! I'm in love! I love this watch. I love it so much that I rarely take it off. Its alway on time, maybe 1 second behind but you couldnt ask for more. The band is of solid stainless steel, and and you feel its weight, not like other watches. The back case is a beauty, and the watch hands light up perfectly. If you want a good quality watch, with excellent style and that goes well with any outfit, then this is the one. great watch Great watch. Not a Rolex, but then again who wants to pay 5000 to know what time it is.... Invicta Pro Diver This is my second pro diver Invicta watch. I wore the first one all the time and I loved it. It started showing a little exterior wear and I saw this one on sale at amazon. I ordered it as a little birthday treat for myself. I wear it everyday and absolutely love it. I actually have 4 Invicta watches and I think this one is my favorite. You cant go wrong with these fine time pieces. Excellent Watch For The Money!!!! This was my first Invicta watch that I have purchased. I am very pleased for the price. I did not want to shell out 5k for an automatic watch and realize that I didnt like the self winding mechinism. So, I thought if I dont like this I can just thow it away. Overall quality is great, the clasp is a bit thin and lesser quality metal but works. All in all great bargin for the automatic watch beginner. Bad Quality, bad steel case. I purchased this watch a couple of years ago,at first look it was good, and honestly this watch introduced me into automatics and mechanics, but the truth is that when you discover other brands at the same price range(Seiko, Orient, Hamilton, Tissot etc) youll soon see the flaws on Invicta. It looks as those rolex fakes that sells in the far east for 25 dollars, really they are exactly the same, just take a look for yourselves. What dissapointed me is that after a year, all the case shine was gone, now is full of scratches(unlike some seiko 5 I have), the case IS NOT 316 stainless steel, as some expert told me in a high end shop where I was repairing my Tissot, and when I send the watch to regulate it because it was gaining some seconds (as all automatics), the service guy opened the watch and showed me the case was chinese, so perhaps Invicta makes this watches at the same facilities where the fake rolexes are made. Anyway, the lume is pitifull (compare it to an Orient, Edox, Seiko etc. and youll see the difference) the Miyota movement is the only good thing of this watch. A year ago when prices where higher, it was common sense to buy this watch, not now, There are Orients with Inhouse movements , better finish, better lume , build by a Real Watch Company, for the same price. You want the Rolex submariner look? Try the Blue Mako, try a Tudor, or a Sumo, they are better, they will last longer without those scratches (the steel on this watch is horrble really) and dont look like fakes. Great deal for the money! I purchased this watch about a week ago from Amazon for $82 after doing some intense research. I own a Tag and a Movado, but wanted a good looking watch I could wear on a daily basis without remorse if it got scratched up. I love the Submariner look of this piece without the Rolex pricetag, and I prefer the look of the coin-edge bezel vs. the Omega style of the other 8926 Invicta. There are a lot of other Submariner homages out there (Orient, Grovana, and Steinhart all make relatively inexpensive examples just to name a few) but none are priced as competitively as this model. I did some research on Invicta and found mostly positive posts regarding their quality on various watch forums. If you dont care about the Japanese movement in this watch, which wasnt a big deal for me, then it is a great choice. For someone who wants something a little fancier the Invicta 9937 is a step up the ladder, but I didnt want to pay 3x as much for that watch. My only compaints so far (in the short time I have owned it) are that the bezel is fairly hard to rotate, the clasp feels a little chintzy, and that there is no hacking feature (second hand doesnt stop when you set the time). These are pretty minor things, but on the plus side the lume is superb and it looks and feels great, and the bracelet is superb for this price category. I would surely recommend this watch to anyone whose budget is around $100. Caveat Emptor Purchased this item in February, 2009. Was enchanted with its appearance, price was good and thought an automatic watch might be fun instead of same old quartz. Not quite six months later, however, even after careful handling, could adjust neither the time nor the date. Attempts to contact The Invicta Watch Group to take advantage of my Platinum Warranty Plan for repair had been futile. They answered the phone after numerous rings but banished me to "no contact land," and considered my few emails as spam. Sure, the watch, band and even the packaging are beautiful (hence, two stars) but those attributes are apparently only skin deep. After contacting Amazon regarding this situation and requesting escalation of this issue, an especially helpful Amazon representative granted my return request for a full refund. Perhaps I simply received a lemon, I dont know. But the last time I checked The Invicta Watch Groups Better Business Bureau rating, it was "F." So beware. Felt I owed this to both prospective buyers and the Amazon staff. Best bang for your buck! I received the 8926c as a gift for my birthday in July. All I can say is WOW! It was well presented in the box, had all appropriate manuals and every piece of that watch was covered in plastic so as not to be scratched. Unreal! Not even my two or three hundred dollar watches were that well protected. Because this was purchased from Amazon.com they extended the warranty to platinum status free of charge. In my opinion you will not find a better watch for the money. Period. Lets not forget how nice looking this watch actually is. It looks better in person, the pictures dont do it justice. This could easily be sold for 300+ dollars. It looks like a more expensive watch on the wrist and has a nice weight too. I love it! Great value Ive had this watch for a couple of months now and I must say that it is everything that I was looking for in an everyday watch. I had stopped wearing a watch some 40 plus years ago because my work involved being around high voltage and because of that a wristwatch was a safety hazard especially one with a metal band. It took about one day for me to become accustomed not only to wearing this watch but dependent on it for the time. The band is excellent, locks securely and is quite comfortable. I cant account for others who found they had to reset the time each morning but mine has never stopped running and Ive had it off for as long as 12 hours. In the two months it has kept perfect time with my computer. As Im over 40 and having to wear reading glasses I was in the market for a watch that I could read without having to put them on, this watch certainly fits the bill. Not being a diver I cant attest to its waterproof-ness but I do enjoy the style. Also the crystal seems to be very scratch resistant as I helped a friend install a pull-down staircase and flooring in his attic, a project that took 5 eight hour days, and the watch came thru with flying colors. Without a doubt this was all that I hoped for in an everyday wristwatch. I am now in the market for a Invicta dress watch. Nice watch; small flaw This is my first automatic watch. A cheapo quartz movement might be more accurate, but an automatic movement--especially one you can see chattering away thru the exhibition case-back--has serious nerd appeal. One small problem: although the band is constructed of heavy, solid high-quality steel, the part of the clasp that touches the inside of the wearers wrist is not. If your skin is sensitive to nickel like mine is, youll want to coat that part of the clasp with some clear nail polish, or youll get a pink welt on your wrist like Ive got this morning. Invicta 8926c Ive had this for almost a month now and purchased through Amazon. For the money, I am very well impressed with the watch. I wasn;t familiar with mechanical, and this is my first experience with them. Im very content with the purchase and all the reviews helped with my decision. It is cheap, but from what I feel, it is quality for the price point. And yes the watch itself is very substantial, as mentioned on other reviews. 8926C value for money Finally got the 8926C. Have been wearing it since I got it last Thursday, could not be any happier with this watch. Also bought the 8926 but it just cannot compare with the 8926C. At this time, its value for money. Invicta Mens Pro Diver Review While this watcth has the looks it lacks qaulity . This is the second pro diver I purchased for my son and once again the pins that attach the band to the lug have bent and caused the band to come off. If they sold 1.5 Million of this model watch as they claim,I would think they have been aware of this problem for some time now. Yet they continue to sell garbage that they know will break. When you try to get it fixed by Invicta, good luck. You will find out a replacement band will cost you 30% of MSRP. Do the math and you will discover they want to charge you more for the band then you paid for the watch!!!! Do not buy Invicta!! Well worth the price. I am not much of a watch expert but I like the looks of this watch and for $90.00 I am very satisfied. It does seem to gain 20 to 30 seconds a day but otherwise works well. Accurate, good looking, a good value. Pros: Solid bracelet, not folded links. Heavy and substantial. Exhibition (transparent) caseback is cool. Accurate (+6 seconds a day). Long power reserve (40ish hours). Excellent excellent value. Screw down crown. Can be hand wound. Cons: Not hackable but back-hackable (exert a little backwards pressure on the minute hand while setting time and the second hand will stop). Magnifiers not the best (1.5x instead of 3x). Polished parts of the bracelet get dinged up more easily than brushed metal. To maintain this watch is more than it's value This watch has a low end ETA movement. ETA makes movements for watch makers that dont have the capability of making their own. Meanwhile, the watch makers make the case, face, crown, hands, bracelet etc. and buy the movement. In other words, they make the chassis and cab but someone else makes the engine & transmission. Every movement needs to be serviced about every 5 years. To calibrate the movement, replace warn parts and oil. IF this is not done, the watch will wear itself out due to friction and simply stop running, like running an engine without ever changing the oil. The damage of not oiling every 5 years will escalate any repair. The service by a reputable jeweler every 5 years JUST to dismantle, inspect and oil is around $250-$450. Would you put this much money into a watch that sells for this much or just buy another one? In other words, this watch is a throw away after 5-10 years. If this is what you wish to own, thats fine. Just be aware that this watch will end up in the recycling bucket after a few years. Great watch! I get this watch one month ago and its really great, especially for the price. First, it looks like THE Rolex Submariner date twin sister. Of course, is not a Rolex. Even not a Swiss movement and a sticker says its made in China... but it cost 75 Euros instead of 4600... Anyway, its a great automatic watch. As an automatic movement, its running a little bit fast, but not worst than a Rolex. Mine takes about 5 seconds a day, which means no more than 3 minutes a month. Its above the Swiss standard of 6 seconds a day... Its autonomy is ok. You can leave the watch all night long on the night desk; it will be still running on the morning. The "Cyclops" makes the date readable for people like me who needs reading glasses and the phosphorescing needles glow correctly in the dark. VALUE AS AN AVID WATCH AND AND COLLECTOR OF FINE TIMEPIECES I RATE THE INVICTA AUTOMATIC WATCHES UP WITH THE BEST OF THEM. 5 YEARS AGO PRIOR TO A VACATION IN JAPAN, I HAD PURCHASED THE DIVER AUTOMATIC. THIS WATCH CONTINUES TO RUN WITH NO ISSUES ON MY GRANDSONS WRIST. I CONTINUE TO PURCHASE HIGHLINE WATCHES FOR MY COLLECTION, BUT STILL FALL BACK ON MY RELIABLE INVICTAS. THE LATEST INVICTA PRO DIVER SHOULD LIVE A LONG LIFE IN THE COMPANY OF OTHER FINE TIMEPIECES. ANGELO first timer First time purchase frm amazon despite knowing amazon for so long. wonderful experience, amazing product and this #8926C is really good. worth the $$. People think its a Rolex Ive had more than one or two Rolex owners compliment my watch. At first I didnt know what they were talking about and then realized its almost an exact copy. I like it as a watch but even better as a low maintenance Rolex replica - it drops the value of a Rolex by thousands. Great Value I ordered this watch to replace a Citizen Eco Drive watch I have been wearing for the last 10 years. After some online research I fell in love with this model. It is an incredible value and a great way to learn about automatic watches. My only complaint is the watch band is almost impossible to open without using a pen knife or something to open the clasp. I miss the push button open of my Citizen. I am hoping it loosens up a bit in use. I would gladly give the watch 5 stars otherwise. Again... great watch... great value. Invicta Pro Diver Coin Edge Automatic Watch This is the second Invicta Pro Diver watch. The first I dropped on the tile floor in my bathroom and smashed the crystal. It was more cost efficient to buy a new watch. Although the first watch was almost perfect, this new watch is very difficult to set and/or wind. If I try to wind, the date changes. After changing the date, the crown is very hard to wind into the lock. If I wear the watch all the time, which I dont, everything would be fine. Its a great looking watch, but Im not happy with thw winding and date change feature. Five years and counting! Damn near perfect! Ive had my 8926C for at least 5 years now. I never take it off; I shower with it everyday; I do hard, physical, dirty, outside geology work with it; I beat the %$ out of this watch. Its all scratched up (if you look closely), but still looks great; it works perfectly and I LOVE IT! I get compliments on it all the time. After the first few months of resetting it now and then its kept time to within about 1 minute every couple of months (about 1 second per day). I like watching the Japanese Miyota movement better than the Swiss Silleta movement because you can actually see the balance wheel spinning back and forth and the anchor lever and ruby (jewel) pallets ticking away on the escape wheel. You can only see the balance wheel on the 9937s Swiss movement. Several of the ruby (jewel) bearings area visible on both movements. Speaking of visible, the Tritnite glowing material glows brightly all night. The date window on the front crystal magnifies slightly, less than the 9937s, but the date is no more or less readable than on the 9937. My front crystal is slightly scratched, but it looks pretty good for all the abuse its seen. The back crystal is perfect. If I could change one thing, Id put solid end links on the bracelet and screw them to the case like the 9937. I break the spring bars (pins) about twice a year, but only because Im very rough on the watch. I actually like the 8926s stamped clasp better than the 9937s "solid" clasp because the solid one actually has a very narrow connection to its stamped end piece which is no thicker than the wider stamped clasp on this watch. The 8926s clasp isnt as pretty as the 9937s, but I trust the 8926s more; and who sees the clasp anyway? All said, this watch is a very good-looking, bullet-proof, reliable workhorse. I just got a 9937, and although I love it because Im turning into a Swiss movement geek, I appreciate the 8926C more than ever. Its a hell of a watch for a steal of a price! Buy one! Youll love it! Superb Value This is my first automatic movement watch, and after a week I can say I could not be more pleased. I can not find a better watch under $200, especially with these looks. It has a heavy feel and a nice finish. Exceeded my expectations! A+ A strong, consistent watch for consistent people I have had my watch for 2 months now. i set it right dead on the first day i got it and it is only 4 seconds fast today. if you think this watch isnt consistent, then you are not a very consistent person. I noticed that some days it would be 5 seconds slow and other days it would be 5 seconds fast, but is not because of the watch, i know that it is because of me. some days i play the guitar with my watch on and that is what makes it fast (Im right handed and wear my watch on the right...) this winds the watch more than normal and the next day, it will be 5 seconds fast. other days, i practically sleep all my free time and it goes back down to maybe -5 sec. but the over all accuracy proves that i am consistent from week to week so it is practically never wrong for me. this is a beautiful watch in person and i have received many compliments and people think its a rolex sometimes so they look at me like "wtf is an 18 yr old doing with a rolex?" but then i tell them its an invicta and they ask me where they can get one and it is definately a durable watch. i wear it on my right hand which is my main hand and i punch walls and get it caught under cars (when im working on one) and misc stuff and it still works and shows no signs of heavy wear. best 100dollar watch made !!! without a doubt for $100.00 u will not find a better watch . this is in my opinion the watch that put invicta on the map and made them the success they are today in the watch industry . it definately made one comopany ( rolex ) turn there heads and take notice!! when they improved upon this model and created the 9937 with a swiss made movement and saphire crystal and a better bracelet it really got them (rolex ) worried as they should be with either this watch the 8926 or the invicta 9937 !! for $100.00 u cant find a better watch anywhere !!! if u want to step up ur game and move away from a japanes automatic movement watch and get into a more serious more exspensive watch than i would say buy and invicta 9937 which in my opinion is not only the best invicta watch ever made but one of the best watches made period!!! when invicta came out with this model the 8926, and its twotone cousin 8928 , they did it right and made a very affordable very very good watch . invicta makes alot of watches that are now swiss made and alot more exspensive , but i wonder do they really compare to the quality of the basic 8926 and 9937 watches . these things are built to last and run forever !!! whether u own the 8926 with the japanese auto movement , or own the upgraded 9937 swiss auto movement watch it is to me one of the best watches made period espicially for the such affordable price !!! Looks Great doesn't work well I have had an Invicta 8926 for a couple years now. The watch looks great, a nice heavy weight stainless divers watch. Mine however has been problematic, First off even when wearing it all day it would frequently stop working completely. I sent it back for warranty repairs (took two months) and upon return it would not keep time. It would loose about twenty minutes per day. Back to the factory and another couple months later I received a new watch. Guess what, it doesnt do much better. It looses about about 15 minutes a day and also stops working occasionally. I have bought a Seiko Automatic Divers watch to takes the Invictas place and it works great. If Invicta would make this watch actually work properly it would be a great watch. Invicta 8926C Review This was my first purchase of an Invicta watch and indeed my first from Amazon USA (being a UK resident). Everything about this transaction was exceptional. The watch itself is much better in the flesh than the pictures. It is well constructed, beautifully made and looks tremendous. Time keeping so far is excellent. I have an Omega Seamaster (quartz) and it is keeping pace with that over the first week of wear. To the casual observer it will look exactly like a Rolex Submariner but there are obvious differences (which I assume are for legal reasons) such as the engraving of Invicta on the side of the case and other subtle detailing. All in all a great watch for the money and delivery from the States was achieved in just 2 1/2 days door to door. Also included was a free warranty upgrade to the Invicta platinum warranty which gives a further 4 years cover - Well done Amazon! Extremely Nice watch! But not a Rolex as some claim I ordered this watch and was nervous about owning an Invicta. I had seen them for years on watch websites and always wondered about them since no B&M sells them in my area. All the other reviewers were gushing with enthusiasm about this watch so I took the plunge [a whole $75]. I have to say [write] This is a nice watch! I dont quite fancy myself a collector but I do like watches like women like shoes. The automatic movement will take a little getting used to, and one reviewer made note of the movements loudness? I would agree that it makes a little noise when the weight is moving but I have always had quarts watches that made little to no noise. I suspect the Swiss version of this watch is smoother, I look forward to ordering the addition to my collection. Down to the info. The design is beautifully crafted. The casing is nice and heavy, well polished and solid. The crystal is clear and big and finely detailed. The band is nicely finished, as well or better than my precious Movado Sport. One quip (not really a complaint) is the bracelet is not as solid-feeling as I had hoped and I had become to believe. It almost sounds hollow, although Im sure it isnt. Which leads me to my next comparison: I am a huge fan of the Rolex Submariner and Turn-o-graph so these oyster style watches are my favorite. One of the characteristics about the Rolex models is the bracelet, its solid. Its solid throughout, it doesnt rattle nor have any "play" in the links. To be clear the 8926 does have a little play, BUT its NOT cheap feeling, or bad, just different. It has about as much play in the bracelet as my Movado, but way less than other watches I own. If you are on the fence about buy this Invicta, do it. You wont regret it. Its a very nice automatic timepiece that oozes with classic style. I plan on ordering the 9937, the swiss version of the 8926, and comparing them. Too bad amazon doesnt sell directly. Ill update on that after I receive and review. Hefty & Classic Invictas automatic watches that utilize the Miyota Japanese movement, in my experience, are great work-horses. Others have written in more detail and with more knowledge than I could...but I wanted to put my vote in and say "job well done!" I have several automatics [including the regular "scallop" 8926] and this one, with the "coin" bezel, is a classic-style, and easier to turn than the scallop-style bezel. I am not sure what the difference is between the "OB and the "C", though...anyone care to comment? My watch came in pristine/new condition and worked beautifully out of the box. If they allowed, I would have given 4.5 stars [nothing is perfect!...5 stars leaves no room for that...but this is darn close ;-) ] Really nice watch... This watch is impressive. I have worn many divers watches over the years ranging from Rolex to Seiko and even down to cheapy $12.00 Philip Persios. The 8926c falls way above the Seiko and starts to get close to the Rolex Submariner in quality and feel. One of the first things I noticed when took the watch out of the box was how heavy and solid it felt. The band has a very substantial feel and closes tightly. I had to take out a few links and found the process very easy (The links come out with a push to remove the pin - they are not screwed in like on the Rolex. When I first looked at the band of this watch I thought I saw flathead screw slots. It wasnt a screw slot just a score from when the factory pushed the pins in). When I was researching the watch online I thought the glass/clear back to the watch was kind of cheesy and at that time wished it was a solid back. But I have to admit I like looking at the workings inside. Its like watching a heartbeat and I find it kind of soothing sometimes. I have had the watch on constantly for about a week and it has gained only 10 to 15 seconds in that time - very, very good for an automatic (on par and perhaps better than the Rolex). The arms and hour markings glow brightly enough that I can see them all night. If two things were different I would have given the watch 5 stars. The first is the sound of the "click" when turing the bezel. The Rolex has a more solid click sound and feel. The other thing I would like changed is to have the band be the same brushed color and finish throughout. I dont overly like the shiny middle links. The little dangle tag on the watch when I took it out of the box read, "315.00." I could see some places selling them for this price. It has that good a feel and look. It is well worth the $100.00 on Amazon. The shipper, My Watch World, also got this to me really fast. I ordered the watch on a Monday night around 11pm before bed. It was delivered on Thursday. Great watch This is the best watch for the money ive ever had. It has a great weight and look. When I bought it, I was looking for a nice watch but also one I could wear every day, this watch is perfect for that. Exellent Diver's Watch For the Price! I purchased my Invicta 8926C a.k.a. "The Legend" watch from Amazon about 3 months ago and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations! I am a very active person and many watches seem to find their demise once worn on my wrist. So far the 8926C has "lived" up to the challenge! The watch gains about 10 seconds per day which for a mechanical movement is quite acceptable. As reviewed elsewhere, the stainless steel band is very comfortable and attractive but the center links do scratch easily :( The band is fairly easy to adjust with the proper tools and for some strange reason fits more comfortably than the newer 8926 with the oyster bezel? Also on the plus side, the mineral glass crystal and the unidirectional bezel have remained flawless! This is a great value for someone looking for reliable a watch! More than I expected! All I can say is, "WOW!" I purchased this watch as an early Christmas present for myself and told my wife to consider it from her. I have had it over one month and the only time it has come off my wrist was when I took it off to let it run down, just to make sure it would restart. Prior to purchase I read the reviews and expected it to run a little fast. I purposely set it a couple minutes slow at first. After about 2 weeks, I had to move the minute hand back a few minutes. I have not checked its exact accuracy, but it seems to be running very accurately after the initial break in period and I have not reset it since. I took it to a jeweler to take out 2 links, which cost me less than $5. The jeweler sells Seiko, Citizen, and some high dollar brands, and he commented that it is a "very nice watch." I went to Palm Beach for New Years and swam at the beach in fairly rough surf with the watch on. No problems whatsoever! I take a shower with the watch on at least once and up to two or three times every day. Again no problems! I wear it to the gym, on the eliptical machine, and while lifting weights. I highly recommend this watch. The comments Ive had from family and coworkers amaze me. At Christmas I ran into a friend who owns a Rolex. We compared watches and he was amazed. He said he should have saved his money! Simply put, I am already shopping for another Invicta to wear as a "change up." Great watch for the money After reading many reviews I was a little nervous about ordering this watch, but gave it a chance anyway. I could not be more pleased with the form, fit and finish and would recommend to anyone. Great watch for the price. Good price on a good watch. This is my first Invicta watch. Im not disappointed, but I am not as enthusiastic as some of the other reviewers. The style is impeccable and it is a great knock off of the Sea Dweller, but there is something unsettling about looking at the face of this beautiful watch and seeing the Invicta logo. It looks and feels like Im wearing a fake Rolex. Other than that, its a great watch for the price and the coin bezel is a real winner. The only thing I dont really like is the clasp. It seems cheap and breakable and you have to line it up just right to snap it shut. Love it! I bought this watch as a birthday gift for my husband last month. He has always loved the Rolex Submariner watch but since thats way over our budget, I selected this watch. Well, my husband LOVES his Invicta watch! He cant believe how closely it resembles the Rolex watch and its been working great so far. He likes the automatic feature and hes been wearing it every day since getting it. Definitely a good watch for the money and I recommend it! Nice watch for the money Very attractive watch - surprises are the weight (quite heavy) and the "automatic movement" feature - you MUST wear it every day - and even then, it occasionally has stopped (taken it off at night to sleep). Great watch for the money Very pleased with the watch. Quality appears to be good, the price was certainly right. If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that it tends to run about one minute fast per day--but that seems pretty typical for these types of watch movements. Would definitely buy again. Fantastic Watch Value! I have had my 8926OB for aprox. a week and I am extremely pleased with the watch. The looks and Quality are excellent, solid stainless steel case and band lugs, substantial weight and feel, mineral crystal and movement for about a hundred bucks it is a true bargain. Ive owned a Rolex silver&gold Datejust for 18 years and had it serviced once at about $200. and now it needs another service (quit working) at a cost of $250 to $400 dollars. to me this is ridiculous and I decided to try the Invicta and I am glad I did. Im not saying this is Rolex Quality but its closer than you would think and at a $5,ooo. dollars savings the Invicta makes a lot of sense, in fact I have ordered another model #3546 and I will probably purchase additional Invictas in the future. And for all those people who said it did not keep good time ie: loses a couple a minutes a week etc. so did my Rolex, Its an automatic movement idiosyncrasy. Two thumbs up for Invicta and Amazon. Great watch for the price This is a great watch considering what you pay for it. Its a little small for my taste, but you can read the hour easily. The specs says its 43mm, but mine is 39mm. It runs a little fast, like a couple of minutes a week. The bright hands lasts at least two hours in the dark (they last more, but with much less bright). The packaging is awesome. The transparent back is great. The self winding system works great. Finally, Im happy with this watch. watch reviewer received watch very fast and it is just great. Look so much like a rolex submariner, but thousands of dollars cheaper. (definitely lighter in weight though). I could not be happier with it and for only about $100. It keeps time great and well worth the price. Awesome! I am a bit obsessed with watches and I am on the verge of getting my first high end watch. I have never been drawn to Rolex with the only exception being the submariner and sea-dweller. But even then they didnt quite do it for me (too over priced, too cliched) so I have been considering Omega and some others. Enter Invicta, I bought this on a whim after carousing the watches on here, I thought it looked good obviously the same as the submariner and it was automatic automatic. I felt apprehensive but what the heck it was cheap enough. It came very quick and it looked great, my only initial problem was the bracelet the second enclosure was loose but I gave it a tap with the hammer and it is fine. I have had it a day now and it has not lost any time, it seems to run fine and this is off the bat. I am hoping this stays the same. One thing the Invicta has over a Rolex is the exhibition back, even though the movement on this is not finished off to top quality, it still looks cool. Anyway after wearing this for a day I think I am going to save up for a submariner or maybe I will upgrade to the more expensive Invicta that sells for 300. Either way I love the style and think I may of found my perfect watch, but hey I feel like that every time I get a new watch. The "Legend" I own the 8926 with the scalloped bezel, which I think is a wonderful watch. It looks great and keeps acceptable time, which is all you can expect from any automatic movement, regardless of what you pay for it. Even, the most expensive automatic doesnt keep appreciably better time, as far as Im concerned. Those who have higher expectations for the accuracy of this watch have unrealistic expectations, in my judgement. The Citizen Miyota movement in this watch is a tried and true workhorse of the industry. While not the most accurate, it is certainly one of the most durable. In an age when the exact time is so easily available almost everywhere, the few seconds it takes to adjust this watch every week or so is nothing to complain about. It seems the less accurate my watch to a point, the less I worry about the accuracy of my watch. I own about 13 quartz watches, by the way. In the watch collecting community, this watch is called the "Legend," because it put Invicta on the map and thats basically why I wanted it, although there are a couple of design differences from the original 8926, from what I understand. The band is different than the scalloped bezel model that I own and the 8932 that I used to own, in that the links are thinner and the middle links are more rounded on this model. This makes the watch lighter than the scalloped bezel model, but it still has plenty of heft. Im proud to add it to my collection. Amazing watch! Incredibly pretty looking, great quality, very nice finish. Heavy and shinny stainless steel. All in all is very impressive. I cant believe its a 100 dollar watch. Movement works great, 3 mins error per week is not bad for this price range. This is the best finish watch I have ever seen in this price. You might have to spend $300 to get a similar watch from Seiko or Citizen. Invicta watchs are nice but less refined I own several Invicta watches as well as other brand watches. The Invicta watches are very high in performance/price ratio. For $100, you can get a mechanical watch with good quality. For $300, you get even a better watch with swiss movement. However, I had some trouble with the crown design of them. The crowns were not polished round enough, so I was very uncomfortable wearing them. I later found a solution. I used clear paint (or clear nail polish) to cover the rough edges of the crown. The $100 Japanese movement is very noisy because of the winding mechanism, so I bought the $300 watch of the same style. The Swiss movement feels better, and the case and the bend are much better. Invicta used very hard steel to make the case and the bend. But all Invicta watches I have are consistently 15-20 seconds faster every day. However, I have a $500 Invicta which is better with 5 seconds faster every day. Most of my Invicta watches have a problem which is the glass. The glass is not clear due to light reflection. So my verdict to the Invicta watches is: for the money, you can not find a better deal, and they will do the job and last a long time. But for me, I prefer something nicer and now I just wear them occationally when I only need to be with something reliable and cheap. Like a submariner for the middle class Let me just get this out of the way: I love this watch. After several dozen not so subtle hints, my girlfriend bought this for my birthday. It replaces an almost identical model made by Regency that I bought more than ten years ago. Sure, there are plenty of Rolex-styled diving watches, but there are a couple of notable features that make this timepiece stand out from similar models. Pictures simply dont do it justice. In person, youll notice the subtle polish on the center links, and the solid weight and feel of the stainless steel band. The beveled unidirectional bezel adds thickness to the watchs body and depth to the face. The perpetual sweeping second hand gives it the look and feel of a much more expensive timepiece. The only flaw I can find is that the pendulum in the winding mechanism makes a lot more noise than I would like. Other than that? Nothing. For the price, this watch is almost perfect. Pros: Automatic winding, sturdy construction and quality finish, impressive looking. Cons: Noisy pendulum. Bottom line: Unless you say how much it actually cost, most people - even those with expensive taste - will assume you paid a lot more. And even if you did, it would still be worth it. Amazing Design This Invicta is a winner. The design is amazing. The watch feels like a much more expensive, high-quality timepiece. The Miyota Japanese moment is very acceptable. It may run a little fast after a while, but thats no big deal. Ive had the watch for 2 months now, and I have only corrected the time once. The watch is constructed well...Ive already smacked on a couple of hard surfaces. The bezel and crown are great...no scratches yet. The band does attract some scratches as some have mentioned, but over all theyre not that bad. This is a fabulous timepiece for the price. You seriously need to just buy it...especially before all the coin-edge bezels run out...I think this watch looks much more beautiful than the clam shell style. Looks nice from the outside. Looks aren't everything. Ive owned at least 100 watches in the past 30 years, including a Rolex Submariner and an Omega Seamaster. Most of the rest were all Seiko. I have owned 3 Invicta watches which were in the same price range (around $75-$100) and they werent bad watches. They were quartz movement tho. Here is my review of the 8926C I bought last week. The pros: The face looks very similar to the Rolex Submariner. The coin bezel edge is a nice touch. It rotates easily and the markings and numbers on the bezel are clean and easily read. Trinite hands and markings glow nice in the dark. You do get a nice clicking sound when you rotate the bezel. The cons: The bracelet is flimsy and is very light in weight. It feels like you could just bend it in half between your fingers. Very thin and cheap. The fold over clasp doesnt snap in place very well. It feels like it could just pop open at any given moment. It would have been nice if they had given it a heavier, more durable bracelet. This being an automatic movement (21 jewel), if you dont wear it all the time youll need to wind it, which isnt that big a deal.. BUT when you go to set the time, the second hand does NOT stop. I have owned dozens of jeweled movement watches and have never come across one whos second had did not stop when you pulled the crown out all the way to set the time. I talked to a sales rep at Invicta and this is not a defect. Its the way the watch was designed. There is no way this watch will be very accurate. Id approximate that it is +/- one minute a day. The see-though case back, in my opinion, is just ridiculous. I feel this is an inexpensive way to build automatic watches these days. Who needs to see the insides? Id rather have a nice solid case back with maybe a logo on it. But.. what do you want for under $100. The Invicta 8926C is worth maybe $50-$75 or so. If you only want a wristwatch that looks nice and dont care how durable, accurate and rugged it is, this isnt a bad watch. If you want accuracy and a more rugged watch, this one just doesnt cut it. Classic Watch I was searching through Amazon.com looking to see if I could have got my brand new Seiko diver at a cheaper price than I had recently bought it for, when I saw a picture of the Invicta Pro Diver 8926 with scalloped bezel. Ive always been a fan of that Rolex Submariner/Omega Seamaster style and instantly liked the look of this watch. It was selling for $[...] dollars and I decided that even if it was a trashy rolex copy at $99 it was worth the risk. To my surprise when it arrived, in its substantial yellow Invicta box, it turned out to be a total beauty. It keeps great time, its tough and it looks as good as a rolex and better than a Tag Heuer or Omega. Then I saw the 8926c with the coin bezel and decided I had to have that as well. Its just arrived and is even better looking than the 8926. Ive owned a Rolex Perpetual day/date in the past and it didnt keep as good time as these invictas with their Japanese movements (I may well have needed it regulated but it would have cost and arm and a leg at a Rolex dealership) or frankly look as good. Im older and wiser now and cant justify buying a $[...] dollar watch like a Rolex especially now I know that you can buy such a great watch at such an amazing price. Ive scoured the internet and I cant find a bad review for this watch - it seems everybody loves them.....including me. For the money, it's hard to beat... but it ain't no Rolex Ive owned this watch for about 2-3 years, so Ive put it through its paces. Ive banged it around (more on that later) and taken it down to nearly 100 feet on several dives. I find its appearance classic and am pleased to see they are still selling this watch as the word on the street was the coin bezel was being discontinued on pressure from Rolex due to the overt similarity. I own over a dozen watches (including Rolex), so I do not wear the same watch every day. Nevertheless, this little cheapie is on my wrist more than most. And here are the shortcomings of this one: it runs a little fast; unlike better automatics, it will run down in 24 hours (if youre going to own automatics, invest in watch winders and this problem disappears); the bezel is nicely done but painted not inlaid like the Omega and Rolex, and thus is not as hard as the Submariners bezel. Ive put a small dent in mine. The band has those cheezy pins instead of screws but really isnt as bad as some of the other reviewers have complained. The magnifier is marginal compared to the cyclops on a Rolex but certainly readable. Now comes the good part. The last time I had a Rolex cleaned, I paid $300+. Im thinking of buying a couple more of these, then give the old ones away when they begin to get long in the tooth. Very pleased after a year, except for the wristband Ive had this watch for a little over a year now, and Ive liked it a lot, except the pins in the band have come loose a couple of times now. I took it to a jeweler to have the pins glued, and that worked for a few months. Now its done it again. If youre pretty active, you may want to consider another type of band. Invicta Diver I have several automatic watches, including a Rolex Submariner, and based on that I am very happy with this watch. Like all my autos, it is a few minutes fast each week, but other than that, this watch looks and feels so much like my Submariner I sometimes get them confused unless I look closely. This is a good buy! Nice automatic watch for the price. The standard 8926 has a scalloped edge Omega style bezel. The coin edge Rolex style bezel gives the 8926 a little more of a Rolex look. It says Invicta on the face, side of the case and clasp, so it is not going to be taken for a Rolex counterfeit. For us old school automatic watch fans, the Invicta 8926 is a nice automatic for the price. Mine runs about 1 minute per week fast. For me, this is fine for an automatic at this price. Stop looking, just buy it already Id been looking at this watch, and the standard 8926 for awhile before I purchased. Im so glad that I finally did. The watch has far surpassed my expectations, and they were pretty high. I had been persuaded by the good reviews the watch has received, and the potential of superior quality and bargain prices. I am pleased to see that this watch really does have a great quality feel to it. The pictures online do not do it justice. The amount of fine detail in the hands and face, and the glass backing are really top-notch. The way the band, bevel, and inner rim catch the light makes it extraordinarily appealing, and are reminiscent of the sheen you would find on a well waxed car. Id be one again in a heart beat, in fact, I think I will. Pretty damn nice watch I have read almost every review on this watch one can find (which there are quite a lot), and was skeptical as to how this watch would be in person. I do have to say, after buying it, I am very impressed. Much nicer than I expected. Its not a Rolex by any means, but a ton of watch for the money. The movement is a little loud, and the date view is not as strong as it could be, but over all a pretty damn good watch. I mostly love the solid link bracelet. Really rounds out the solid feel of the watch. Best Invicta watch Why should you buy this watch? Well, you could just like watches, or a diver. However, you dont have to be a "pro-diver" to use one of these watches. Ive worn these types of watches for more than 25 years and have done little more than dive on coral 15-20 feet down. These watches last. Invictas 8926OB (for Original Bezel) is almost a duplicate of a Rolex Sea Master. So much so, Rolex threatened legal action unless parts were changed. The Rolex timepiece will probably last longer, but at $3,000 it should. The Invicta is a working mans (womans) watch. Mine keeps good time and I rarely adjust it. Its an automatic movement watch -- not a quartz watch. That means it is a self-winding watch. And thats fine. I doubt anybody reading this needs a hyper-precise watch for everyday life. We all like to think of ourselves as underwater demo team members or 21st Century 007s, but thats not the case. Probably one of the benefits of Invicta is its presentation. The watch comes in an attractive case, and it has a polishing cloth. It practically blinds you with its silver bracelet. There are drawbacks though. Every Invicta watch Ive got has a delicate crown and stem. The crown also winds the watch, like normal, but when you move it out to the other settings then you REALLY have to be careful opening it. Delicately pop it out to the A or B setting. The first, or A, setting is for changing the date. The second, or B, setting is to move the hands. The crown screws down and is secure. So, you dont have to worry about it snagging anything. Just a note on the Original Bezel versus the newer 8296 scalloped, or Omega type, bezel: Its sort of a coin edge, and, to me, it is easier to turn. The scalloped type requires too much pressure and over a few weeks of use it starts to feel like it is wearing out. I use mine to measure elapsed time for exercise and other events. Its not 100-percent precise like a chronograph, but gives me what I need. Just to recap, this would make a good, inexpensive, gift that definitely looks like it is more of an investment than it is. Good quality and feel Good quality and feel, you will get lots of people who tell you how nice your watch is and will always think its a high tag watch and who are into watches will always think its a Rolex Submariner. Make sure to get it with the coin bezel 8926C and if want a higher quality one with a Swiss movement get the 9937 just make sure its the one with the coin bezel if you want a submariner look. New to Mechanical Watches? This Will Get You Started. This the THE watch that put Invicta on the map. Styled after the Rolex Submariner, the 8926 has a very solid feel to it. Mechanical watches can cost thousands of dollars and need to be serviced every 2-3 years. They have to be either worn daily, stored on a watch winder, or hand-wound lest they stop ticking and have to be re-set. Even with due diligence, premium timepieces have to be manually adjusted every month because they will run a couple of minutes fast or slow. Are you willing to put up with this just to own "a work of art?" That is the big question someone with a casual (or fleeting) interest must ask themselves. But at Invictas price point, this is a perfect way to find out. Ironically, mechanical watches are a joy to wear because of their complications. The back case is covered by a mineral crystal, so you can actually see the inner workings. The second hand sweeps around the dial, which I think is more elegant than a quartz movement. The aesthetic quality is the main selling point. We are really talking about mens jewelry here folks. With clocks, cell phones, tv and the like, it is not hard to find out the correct time. So to me, a mechanical watch is worth the idiosyncrasies. Buy the Invicta and wear it for a couple of years. This way, when your are ready to drop $2500 on an Omega, $5000 on the Rolex, or $100,000 on a Patek Philippe, at least you will have an idea of what you have gotten yourself into. Watch nice, but wrist band cheap, very cheap. I just got this watch since it looks really nice on the web and I felt confident about the watch from all the reviews. I finally decided to get it and it arrived today. Since I havent the chance to see how accurate it keeps time, Ill just review the visual and feel quality. The watch as a whole is quite heavy, more than my Swiss Army. However, the weight is entirely from the case and none from the band. The band feels light and cheap, and it feels rough around the edges. When I put it on, it feel like it catches on my skin. Im very disappointed on the quality completeness of the watch. If you like the design and cant afford to get the Rolex version, then get this. But youve been warned around the quality. Best Watch I've Ever Owned I beat the living heck out of watches and this one has been no exception. Bought my first one just over 2 years ago and couldnt have been happier with it. The band started to show some scratches after about a year and Ive broken a couple of pins on the band (which I replaced with pins from bands from my 5 or 6 other watches that are sitting in a drawer because I killed them way quicker then I killed this one). Last week I finally I cracked the bezel. But getting 2 years of solid everyday use out of a watch is exceptional for me. Ive owned watches that cost more than 3 to 4 times what I paid for this one (I paid $125 for it just over 2 years ago) that showed more wear and/or quit working long before I decided to replace this one. It still works great and I strongly considered having it serviced and the cracked bezel replaced, but now that its less than $80 I just ordered a second one. If I get the same 2 years of use out of this second one, Ill be extremely happy. Great look, great price, great watch. Great looking watch but will run a little fast early on but, once broken in keeps good time. Great purchase for looks and style. Invicta Mens Automatic Pro Diver 8926 Coin Bezel 8926C Great Watch! I have been using this watch as my everyday watch for the last month. This is without a doubt the best watch I have owned. It looks and feels like it cost at least $700-$800. I have no problems with it running fast. I highly recommend this watch (looks great for casual and dress ocassions) and would purchase another Invicta watch without any hessitation. "My Watch World" is a great place to buy this watch. I received it at my house in Puerto Rico in 3 days! Great deal, great watch. I am replacing my 8926 with this 8926c. The coin edge does make the watch look at least $30 more expensive. I have gotten many more complements on this than on the regular 8926. that said it is no 9937. Those that are willing to spend the money should by that watch. It has the sapphire crystal and the swiss movement. But this watch cost 1/3 as much as to me supplies the same utility. I ware this watch everyday and dont have to worry about it getting scratched. Because even if it gets ruined I am only out $100. Great watch, excellent deal. Very nice looking watch The only problem that I have is it runs a little fast. Three minutes by the end of a week. The watch is very nice looking and feels pretty solid. The band is nice but could be a little heavier. Overall for the price its a very nice watch. Nice watch This is a very nice watch. The quality for the price is unmatched. It looks very elegant. The only thing is that if you dont where it for a couple of days you will have to wind (or shake) it to get it working again. I can't afford a Rolex So this is a good watch, until I get the money. Runs well and looks good, although on close inspection, you can see its not a 1.000 dollar (or 5.000 dollar) watch. The magnifier is awkward, and the hour markers are a little green in some lightings. That said its a great watch, and as you can see in the pictures, its a good looking one too. PS: Theres also the luxury version called invicta 9937, with swiss movement, better sapphire, stronger cyclops and solid end links. Thats also a good buy I think, but of course the price is 3 times this one or more. Happy shopping! Rolex Owners: Beware! This is one of the best watches you can buy for $135. Distintive and solid stainless steel bracelet with an extension. Automatic Japanese Miyota Cal. 8215-2 movement. Mineral crystal with cyclop feature. Water resistance to 200 meters or 660 feet. The bezel (coin edge type) reminds me of the more expensive Rolex Submariner. It has a nice grip and it seats quiet tight. This model is available with the more traditional Invicta bezel at lower price. As a whole, this watch represents value all over. This is the watch that made aficionados world wide think about the real cost of Rolex watches. Are you paying for status symbol or quality? For a genuine Rolex watch, 85% of the value lies in the name. So why buy an Invicta Rolex look-alike? You get the best of both worlds. You get a quality product with an expensive look, but doesnt cost you much. And you also get the value associated with that particular brand name. Invicta has done a terrific job in that it is probably one of the best value deals you will find. It has the Rolex look but with a very small price tag. And the name Invicta also adds value to the watch. People have come to known Invicta as a quality brand with very affordable prices. M.T.Nino Fantastic Watch for just a few bucks I am extremely impressed with the feel, look and general quality of the watch. It contains the Citizen Miyota 21 jewel automatic movement that is a true workhorse for a fraction of the price. The comfortable stainess steel pinned link bracelet is worth the price of the watch. It has rounded flexible brushed steel wrist links The foldover adjustable double safety clasp uses pins as well. Can easily be mistaken for a watch costing much more. The Mineral Glass crystal is scratch resistant - but not as good as a sapphire watch face, but is less prone to chipping or shattering than a sapphire crystal. The display watchback is also mineral glass - displaying the undecorated Miyota automatic movement. It look as stylish and run as well as my other watches, and, I receive as many comments if not more from the Invictas. It is a great looking watch! Good value, accurate and stylish if you like the Sub look. This is a good day-to-day knock about watch that still looks better than the quartz stuff in the same price band. If it lasts 5 years its more than paid for itself. If you would like more information and talk with others about Invictas or other watches visit www.thewatchcentral.com.
