Father gift     On: 2008-05-09

I bought this watch to my father. That was his second TIMEX. He like it because it has light, so he can see the time even at night.
vary pleased     On: 2008-05-08

i am vary satisfyed with this timex product i did find that the writen function buttons was vary hard to see but was able to find out the fuctions the main thing of this watch is its warter proof i had taken a shower with it on and dident notice it and it was fine (( i would order another one if i needed a watch
I like it     On: 2008-03-29

Im a woman, and bought this watch for the bigger display face to use on walks/jogs. I like it to wear for that reason, but am not so impressed with it for one small reason in everyday wear.... It fits, but it sometimes seems like the hole I usually wear it in is to small (if it somehow shifts), but if I out it on the next larger hole it moves around leaving clammy skin exposed due to the non-breathable but comfortable strap. I think its worth the money, but I had forgotten about this feeling which is (I think) why I dont normally wear watches.
Great Watch!!     On: 2008-03-27

This watch was purchased to replace a Timex Ironman, which had a broken band and would have cost about the same to replace its band. This watch is very easy to use, easy to read, and seems pretty durable, even more durable for the $45 Ironman. The band is a little stiff at first, but then takes shape after a little time and becomes more comfortable. The glass isnt as vulnerable either as it may look. Very good deal, especially for a work watch.
Great for the price     On: 2008-03-19

Watch arrived quickly, met expectations. Took a little while to figure out how to set the time, but other than that its great!
It's the little blue light that gets ya!     On: 2008-03-04

I purchased this watch strictly for use during my work-outs, but found it to be cool enough to hook-up well with oversized hi-hop/urban gear. Its a big watch, but not extremely so. The titanium and black color makes for a versatile casual.

Now for the negative, and there is but one. Getting used to setting and later finding some of the functions was a pain. But other than than that, the watch is cool. I bought a ladys version too. No it wasnt for me...
Great Value but Not Exactly as Pictured     On: 2008-01-15

I want a watch to tell time when I go to the gym or play sports. For the price at Amazon, it really cant be beat even if it dies in a year or two. It has all the standard chrono, alarm, and timer functions. I would prefer the timer to retain the value I set after it counts down instead of having to set it every time.

The one major reason that I took a star off is that the watch does NOT have a green face like the picture. Some watches, like an Armitron a friend has, glow green depending on the angle. I thought I was getting similar technology here but the dial face is just black numbers on greyish silver white background. When illuminated, it turns blue; it never has the green face. I would have returned it had it cost more, but it is not worth it here.

I am surprised no one has yet mentioned this. Maybe I got a lemon?
Don't let the cheap price put you off....     On: 2007-12-11

Theres a Brit saying: "Pay a cheap price, buy twice". Basically false economy rears its ugly head - for example: you buy a cheap watch to try and save money only to find the watch broke after a short while and you having to buy ANOTHER watch to replace it.

This isnt the case with this watch. I opted for a sports watch because I was fed up to the bleedin eyeballs with having chain link watches breaking all the time on me (and not all of them were that cheap either.) I also wanted a watch to go jogging with as well, so I opted for this beauty because of its price and its countdown timer.

I was not disappointed, it is a lot smaller than I thought it will be, which is a bonus as it is disheartneing to go jogging with what feels like a leadbrick swinging from your arm, but it still feels solid and compact all the time - what I am trying to say is that this Timex doesnt feel cheap.

I wasnt expecting much with the watch but I am very please with it. I initially bought it as a cheap knockaround watch but I wear it all the time now!

The options are also fairly easy to use, stopwatch, countdown (upto an hour I think), alarm, etc. The illumination is also very good when in dark places.

I have had the watch one month so I cannot guarantee it will last a long time but so far I have no problems with it at all. Well worth the price though, and wouldnt swap this watch for most of the more expensive watches I have had.

There are cheaper watches out there, but for the extra pennies (or cents) it is worth getting this.

Pretty Good     On: 2007-11-25

I got this to replace my Timex Ironman. Its mostly good, but there are a few things that might have diussuaded me from by it if I had known about them and if there had been a better alternative:

1. It beeps every time you push a button (except for the Indiglo button). On the Ironman thats only the case when the hourly chime is on.

2. The countdown timer doesnt save the last entry. For example, if you set it to count down 5 minutes and stop it with one minute left, the timer just stays set to one minute. If you want to count another five minutes, you have to reset it. Not a huge deal but kind of anoying.

One nice difference is the Indiglo button - instead of just staying on while you hold it (unless you hold it down for a few seconds), one push lights the face for several seconds. The buttons are also a lot easier to push.

Excellant watch, great value     On: 2007-10-18

The Timex watch works great, and has all the features most people need. And at this price, youll have a hard time finding a better value on Amazon or elsewhere.
Good watch for the price     On: 2007-09-12

I am student in a wilderness school. This watch does every thing I need it to do. It cost under $20 so it is a great value for what I paid for it. I use it when I am swimming, running, or out on a field exercise without a problem. It will not sing and dance for you, but if you want an affordable and reliable watch with good durability, this watch is the way to go.
My husband likes it     On: 2007-07-26

very nice buy, my husband likes it.he wears it to work and to swim. no complain.
Timex! what else need be said?     On: 2007-01-13

This watch was very inexpensive and will outlast the Nike my son had before! No problem...
Good, not the best     On: 2007-01-03

Good watch (come on. . . its a Timex), fast delivery, but isnt the best sport watch, personally i prefer the Ironman model. If you like its style. . buy it
