Beautiful watch, great price point, easily scratched.     On: 2010-02-01

Be careful with this watch. It is absolutely beautiful, and you cant beat the price. However, the high chrome finish is VERY easy to scratch so I wouldnt recommend it to anyone looking for a watch for heavy work. Office worker style watch. Cubicle friendly. Nice for a night out too. Well constructed and heavy on the wrist.
Agradável     On: 2010-01-09

O produto é maravilhoso, até agora, não há do que reclamar.
Esteticamente, agradável. Os displays são de fácil visualização.
Eu realmente adorei a escolha, e recomendo a todos o produto.
Nice watch..band is questionable..     On: 2009-12-29

I received this watch as a gift from a friend who ordered it from Amazon. I looked at the watch in the store(national Jewelry) before ordering. One thing I noticed is the band from Amazon is different than the store bought one. The store bought one weighs a little more and moves more easily and is more flexible and has more depth and dimension to it. Thus, it makes it feel more substantial. For a 3rd comparison, I went to Macys and the band from Macys is the same one as from Amazon. So, either the Jewelry store one is different, or the band style has changed form the manufacturer. Not sure which one. I wish the one from Amazon had the band I prefer, but other than that, the watch is beautiful and very nice and the price is right.
Probably best $400 I've spent on anything- ever!     On: 2009-11-28

I bought this watch ten years ago. I wear it 15 hours a day- every day. It literally still looks new! Has some fine surface scratches on stainless face and band but you have to look close to see them. Once a year I change the battery (most any decent jewelry store), and a couple of times had to get a new pin to attach the band to case. Ten years and thats it!
- I have been a restaurant manager all of these years. My watch takes about as much abuse as youre ever going to give a watch. I bang this watch hard (on a daily basis) on just about any surface possible including steel, concrete, rock, glass, etc. There is not a single scratch on the sapphire crystal.
- The only time I have ever had to reset the time is when the battery is dying. Otherwise it matches the clock on my cell phone exactly.
- Im constantly washing my hands at work. I swim with watch on, etc. No issues with watertight.
- Trying to think of more praise! Oh yeah, it looks great, solid feel, etc. Pix online dont do it justice. I couldnt decide between black face and "Sapphire Blue." Finally got the blue one which has some kind of finish to the dial face (ceramic?) that makes it pearlescent in light- very cool! Now that I noticed it online in black for $274 Im seriously comtemplating getting that too!
- Do yourself a favor and dont buy any more "disposable" $50-200 watches without a sapphire crystal. They may keep working for years but they look like crap in 6 months (if you wear your watch in an "abusive" environment).
- Tip from jeweler- once a week spray it with windex and wash it off. Makes stainless sparkle and gets rid of grime.
- Conclusion- just about the best $400 I can remember spending on any product!
Nice looking, but cheap feeling - and it stopped working within three weeks     On: 2009-09-23

I bought this watch for everyday office + occasional gym - bike - run use. I usually do sports during the lunch break or right after work, and I wanted inexpensive, but decently looking watch that can fit both purposes. When you buy 300 $ watch, you do not expect it to be built like Breitling or Omega, but I was expecting it to be at least as sturdy as my old 150 $ Festina Chronobike (which took fair amount of beating from years of gym-bike-run and occasional swim routine, but still works perfectly well and looks reasonably good). Tissot PRS 200 looks very nice, but feels cheap, even compared with Festina. Especially the bracelet feels really cheap (although, like the rest of the watch, it has nice and shiny look) up to the point I am expecting it to fall apart if I would really do some casual sport with the watch on. At the end, the watch stopped working after three weeks. Thought it is the battery and had it replaced, but then the watch got stuck again 12 hours later. This one is going to repair shop or garbage bin. This is my first and last Tissot.
Versatile watch with great quality     On: 2009-09-13

As for build quality, this watch is solid and has enough weight to make it feel substantial. The sapphire crystal allows me to be much more care-free than I would be with a lesser-quality crystal typical of other watches in this price range.

Looks-wise, this watch is slick, and it stands out whether I use it casually or to a dressier occasion. The bands design is such that it catches and reflects light in a pleasing pattern. In times of watch faces being so oversized, this `regular sized face still looks great and will stand the test of time.

Tissot is always a solid choice for watches. This one, though it rests towards the lower end of Tissots price range, is a great value and a testament to Tissots quality.

Great Watch     On: 2008-06-22

The Watch is very good and impressive one. I really like this watch a lot, but I was a bit dissapointed as Amazon didnt have it. I had to buy it from its partners. But in a weeks time from when I bought it; Amazon had it for a bit cheaper price than the price I had paid for.
Just what I wanted     On: 2008-01-14

This watch is just what I was looking for. It looks as perfect dressed up in a button down shirt as it does with dressed down in a t-shirt and jeans. I love it!
a maintenence free watch     On: 2007-10-16

i have had this watch for nearly four years now and I could not ask for a better watch to stand up to the daily beatings of life including the extremes. Ive had to have zero maintenance done except replace the battery once. You could not ask for a more dependable watch.
Quality Watch     On: 2007-02-02

Have had this watch for the past 4 years, its still beautiful and fits the perfect role of an everyday watch that isnt so fancy youre scared of wearing it but not so cheap looking you feel like a 10 year old. I agree with the other reviewer in that you should go see all watches in person, especially since there are many different styles within just this prs-200 model, I myself have a white face with blue circles.
Excellent Tissot Watch     On: 2006-12-15

I have had this watch for about 6 months now. I am very pleased with quality of manufacturing, design, weight, function. This watch will get noticed by others. Chronograph works flawlessly. Excellent watch and price/value realtionship.
A watch for 28 years     On: 2006-08-03

This is a great watch, I had the past model for 28 years and used it everyday. Swimming, scuba diving, nmountainbike riding, 28 years on my arm. A month ago it finally gave up and I asked for the exact model equivalent to the one I had, I was refered to this one, so I bought it and Im expecting to use it for other 28 years.
A Really Great Watch     On: 2005-01-13

Ive had this watch for nearly 4 years now and it has been very reliable and has remained water resistant for all this time. I highly recomend this watch but I also recomend that you select your watch in person.
You will love it !     On: 2004-04-27

Tissot PRS200 is one of the best selling watches from the legendry watchmaker. The build quality and appeal of the product speaks for itself. This watch has got everything what an ideal quality watch should have. It has:

1. Sapphire glass
2. 200M/660FT water resistant
3. Chronograph
4. Rotating bezel dial.

The quality of the chain is A Grade and when gets dirty can be washed with warm water and soft detergent. The shine remains same for years. I have tried Tag Heur, Fossil, and DKNY but honestly I find this best. Nobody in the Swiss industry can beat the value for product, which only Tissot can give.

This is a great buy as you can always compare the features with a lot expensive watches. Moreover, Tissot is any day better than brands like Swatch, Esprit, and Fossil. The company which has been in watch making business since 1853 cannot be wrong or just average, it has to be cut above the rest and that what exactly Tissot is, and it is proved by the quality of PRS200.

A Real Timepiece     On: 2003-12-17

I received a PRS 200 for a gift about two years ago. The crystal is great and has taken more abuse than a watch of this price should sustain. Needless to say, no scratches. The heft puts a smile on my face every morning when I put it on. I had an occasion to ding a chronograph button from very rough treatment - my dealer took VERY good care of me and Tissot squared everything away at no cost. I cant say enough about these watches. I plan on getting another Tissot soon, this time in gold finish. Forget Breitlings, and get a real timepiece for at least 1/4 the price.
